I just recently got all 6 of my wife's and my own toons flagged for DSK. I was pretty excited to zone in, which is a huge pain since SOE puts traps, see invis and a raid mob in the way of the zone in. When I got into the zone I started exploring and found EVERYTHING sees invis and 6-8 mobs (twitching skeletons) in one room are all KOS and everything assists on them. They also see through IVU. No way I can clear the 15 or so mobs I would have to kill to get through before respawns start because every mob is counted as a raid mob with a 5 minute counter. If they were normal I might could keep the DPS high enough to burn them down, but there's no freaking way I can split out the pulls and kill everything unless the respawn is a very long time. What's the point of making this zone attainable through single group tasks if you damn near need a raid to get through the first room? Anyone with experience in this zone got any advice or secrets I just don't know about?

found it on eqforums and egn, these mobs aren't supposed to be flagged as raid, nor see through IVU

Yes those skellies are a PITA.. the way by them.. is have a bard/monk/shadow knight train them away just long enough for the rest of the party to run by them.. then with FD they can rejoin you.. almost nothing else in the zone is KOS ( at least when I was there ).. Go up the curvy ramp and into the castle.. I have only XP'ed in there 1 time ( a few days ago) BUT plan to go back..

We camped a large rectanuglar hall way in the back.. at level 75 mobs were way wimpy.. we were albe to handle 2-3 at a time with a bard mezzinging any xtras.. Repop is fast .. Be sure to have all get formal dinner invites.. as that will allow you to zone in via Stoneroot falls ( click statue in NW section of western lobe.. I.E. away from spider city)..

While loot in DSK is no longer UBER.. My paladin sure can use the +25AC/+25 HP augs that drop in there.. they are NOT lore and compliment the +25 AC augs from RSS as they go into different armor slots (Finger/Ear/Range).. and ther are some decent weapons that drop in DSK I have heard..

Those skeletons never used to see IVU and this was an issue that cropped up with the release of TSS. It has been brought up numerous times on the EQ Live forums but, to my knowledge, has never received a response from a dev. It's a shame because it is a great zone. Most of the mobs on the beginning ramps of DK are not KoS. Just those skeletons in the first hub are KoS, so you should be able to kill them and progress further.

The only problem is if your group partially wipes once you get past the hub and no rezzer survives. With the current state, there is no way for them to get back to the group safely so you have to start over again by gating/succoring. Players have also pointed out the mobs having the raid target designation. While I can see where they're coming from, it just means it's a zone where you have to conserve mana and endurance like all the zones were pre-TSS.
