Here are some bugs i have that SoE is unable to assist with, wondering if anyone else has managed to conquer them.
1) i'm unable to invite people across zones, however i find that i can some times invite members from my guild across zones but no one else. Done a complete file scan but this problem still remains.
2) this is the most recent one, my map is disappearing and appearing, making it very hard to find my way around zones and only shows a couple of lines at anyone time, however i tested my map and it works fine in Pok, GL, GH.

While I have never experienced these specific problems, in the recent past I had some serious graphics problems which SOE was stumped about. What I ended up doing was copying all my toon files out of their locations, and completely uninstalling and reinstalling all EQ files.
Frankly, this really sucked since I had to redo all the GUI and reset all the windows; you don't realize just how much you customize until something like this. What it boiled down to for me was could I live with the problem or not, and eventually I went for it.
I don't know if this will cure your problem, but it might be worth a try. If you eventually fix this, please post so we can all benefit.

you can back up your ui files. basically, your ui itself + any files in the everquest directory that have your chars name in the filename.
when 2 boxing my 2nd box keeps having graphic problems. I have heard it called the west graphic glitch cause it does it worse when looking west.

I had the graphics bug the other night, and previous poster is correct, it was worse looking west. Mine fixed without any problems with a computer reboot. Hope this helps.
Managed to fix the map bug, did a complete file scan and DL another set of new maps, but invitebug still remains
