4 days of approx 3-5 hrs a day pickpocketing Founy for the rogue epic and the *)^*Q^#$ won't drop it grrrr
got pickpocket to 206, made 3PP LOL, a few bonze weapons and runes and no top section of parchement

Founy was an ***. The dark elf guy practically balled up his half and bounced it off my forehead but that damn dwarf caused me no end of frustration.

If you are unsuccessful many times in a row, it is time to wait for them to de-spawn. Both despawn around 8 am game time, then respawn with a chance to have the item you need.
I was successful on both last week after two or three spawns. Helps if you do not have some one else looking for the same thing. Curiuosly enough, I had to compete with some rogue who felt the need to shroud to a goblin rogue since the shrouds get automatic 200 in pick pockets. Have some pride, sheesh.

Did spend approx 25 hrs there now, pickpockt them for hours on end pre and post pop, and nada de nada
another 4 skillups in PP though
if i think i need to do this 2x for HE mask too I feel sick

I spent days there myself lol, just keep at it. Also, iirc, you do the he mask during you're epic with no need of having to re-pickpocket.
Not sure if that will work. Doesn't the general de-spawn once he gives you the mask?
another 6 hrs and so far 14 skillups in pickpockets and guess what? no parchment grrrr
