How many characters can have veteran rewards?
Short answer: it's the same number as rewards you have. So if you have the 3 year reward with 3 rewards, the rewards can go to 3 characters. When you hit the next years rewards, you can add the rewards to an additional character.

Well, my account anniversary is Sept. 5 1999 but the "played" button still says only 6.9 years played.
The vet rewards are only calculated once a month, so if you hit your anniversary right after they do the calculations, you'll end up having to wait an extra month. Also, the "played" is considered to only be an estimate since the rewards are based off of "paid" time rather then "played" time. Trial periods (a la the first 30 days when you started) don't count towards the rewards.
Sony calculates the veteran rewards based on paid subscription. If you take a break (and cancel the account) you lose out on that time. Also, Sony hasn't been the best in tracking this either.

If you have 3 years worth of rewards, you can have up to 3 charactes with the rewards. So if you have only flagged two of them as veteran rewards, you can create a new character right now and flag them as veteran rewards, and the new character will enjoy all three years worth of rewards.

Also if you got the extra year for as part of one of the aniversary bonus this has turned out to be an early one rather than an extra 1.
On the previous aniversary I took out the special subscription and got 2 years worth of Veteran rewards but last year did not get any.

What happens if you delete a character with a veteran reward already flagged for it? Do you get to add the rewards to another character?
