I have been playing Everquest for about 2 weeks now and I have some questions that I need answered. First of all, Are there any quests for Classes or Races? Where do I find the quests for Alchemy to make better stuff? Are there any storyline quests, ones that have to do with the story of EQ or something? What is the best way to get money in EQ? And lastly... Where can I find Badlen Gellentine for the Predators of the Sea Task?

For alchemy start going to eqtraders.com and read up on tradeskilling in general and alchemy in particular. For getting used to EQ probably the best place is to go through the tutorial, which has some good descriptive text explaining how to do some of the basic EQ commands while you get some basic equipment and a few levels as well.

Then I would recommend going to Crescent Reach as your first base of operations. There are a lot of quests there and a good starting area to fight in. As far as money (PP or Platinum Pieces) goes... well that will take some time and levels, and as you gain in level you'll be able to kill mobs that have more lucrative drops. Initially if you go through the tutorial and TSS you'll be equipped well enough that lack of money won't be too much of a hindrance. Once you get some experience and time under your belt you should be able to find some nice places to farm for loot.

Would be a good idea if you could get into a guild. Not sure if you are already in a guild, but guilds will help you with questions and getting into groups. Also use your /LFG to help you finding groups.

Wow how everything has changed. When i started 4 years ago it took me 2 weeks just to get to level 12 and find my spells. here you are a couple weeks into the game and level 41!

But on topic definitely find a good guild and don't be afraid to ask people for help wether in OOC or ask groups you happen to be in. Worst you will get is some asshat calling you a noob.

Oops, I should probably add something of use to the thread. Hmm. Yea, get into a guild. They usually have a progression plan and will let you know what quests you should be working on. :)
