Good morning everyone, this was my weekend:

Thu: Grouped with friends and did the Halloween monster mission twice. Was invited to Plane of Valor afterwards (my first visit there) and had a great time - exp was very fast. The group decided to port to Noble's Causeway (via WoS), and exp was even better there! Got another AA and bought Spell Casting Fury (#1). Smiley: yippee Had a full wipe after the Druid left, but I didn't lose anything due to my veteran reward exp recovery. Started the Trick or Treat quest at Midnight and got 6 out of 10 before I was too tired to continue.

Fri: Met with my bandmates for a photoshooting (we're participating in a contest). Had a cider or two at an Irish Pub in the evening.

Sat: Shopping time, got a new jacket for winter. My girlfriend and me were invited for dinner at my brother's and had a great meal.

Sun: Invitation for brunch at some friends. Searching of and applying for a new job in the afternoon and evening. Hope I get some positive answers...

Mon: Logged on for half an hour before work and got number 7 and 8 for the Trick or Treat quest - Crabby the Rotten in Unrest and Nate in Mistmoore. Two to go.

Not much EQ for me this weekend.

Friday: Got invited to a group about 10 seconds after I logged on. It was for a PoR mission, which I had never done before, so I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and we spent about 45 minutes waiting for one person (the only one that had ever done the mission, at least he said he had) to get to the right zone), then our cleric died once (of no ones fault really, a DoT got them), then the cleric died again because the guy that "knew what he was doing" ran out and aggroed a mob while the cleric was at <50m and still under rez effects. THEN, on the next pull we got an add and the whole group wiped. We were all kinda fed up with it by then so called it a night. I had some Kaladim Constitutional ingredients still in the bank so I worked them real quick. About 50 combines and got 1 skillup, woohoo!

Saturday: Had a slumber party with our 3 young daughters. Really it was just eating popcorn and watching Over the Hedge, but being that the oldest is 5 and they're usually in bed by 830, it was a real treat for them. Too tired to play EQ.

Sunday: Started a gnome enchanter. I really just need to get him to level 24 so he can enchant gold for my bards jewelcrafting. Got him to level 9 in just about 2 hours with no twinkage (although someone did do a driveby Temp on me at level 7). Spent some time teaching a true newbie some stuff (commands, communication, hotkeys, acronyms, etc) in the tutorial when I was level 4, which was really cool (and if you're reading this, I didn't mean to offend you when I asked you if you were a "true newbie". The "No, I'm level 6!" kinda gave me the impression that I had.)

Sat: Got flipped by Rallos Zek the Warlord in Tactics. Raid had him to 4% before adds overwhelmed us. Not enough time or personel to regroup and finish him. Went on successful Emoush raid after that.

Sunday: Dinged 42 on the Drakkin. Got 8th level breath spell, only dying twice in Stone Hive (record low for a ranger?).

Saturday - Dinged an AA on the zerker and a bit of experience on the druid by hunting the Dromrek (sp) in the Mesa.

Sunday - Failed the combine on the Artisan Charm so more hunting for ingredients is in my future. Spent some time in Barindu with guildies. Who knew a normal exp grind could be so much fun!

Friday: Tried to get together with the guild to get Old Seb keys for some alts, but I fell victim to the LD-monster and gave up around 11PM.

Saturday: Went online to farm plat so I could pay off a loan shark friend of mine; bought Anklesmasher when I had basically no plat and he loaned it to me. Since I suffer from Alt-itis, I never have more than about 5K in the bank at any time. Ran around soloing the Rogue (yes it can be done and I love the challenge) waiting for my loan shark to log on, but he never did.

Sunday: Paid off my friend; woo hoo debt free! Had the rogue down in Befallen, opening doors for those trying to finish the halloween quests; logged from tiredness and general blah... I hope to get on tonight and grind some more with the mage.

Is there any entertainment value to be had for adults in this Movie?

I signed up for Netflix this weekend. We no longer have a video store right down the street so picking up movies had become pretty inconvienent.

EQ
My husband's BL and my Druid dinged 64 and 65 respectively while duoing BoT. Raided with guild on Sunday, took out Grummus...again.

I think it was Saturday night, my husband and most others I hang with had gone off to bed. I was still poking around pok when there was an ooc looking for people to help take out the PoF broken Golem for the Wizzy 1.0....so I tagged along.

Afterwards the wiz that had just gotten the drop mentioned in raid chat that all he needed now was the drop from VS. My Wizard has this drop, but is not likely ever gonna finish the epic quest I so offered it up to this guy.

Long story short we tried MQing the final part of the quest and failed. The other Wiz lost his pieces, the recently hard earned drop from the PoF Golem as well as the staff from Phinney. The NPC gave me back the gnarled staff from VS.

Anyone ever MQ this before? The NPC didn't seem to like me much. I was apprehensive. Would this affect the turn-in? Anyway I think the guys was pretty PO'ed. I guess I don't really blame him although myself and others cautioned him that the MQ may very well do just what it did....

...

No EQ this weekend. Just kinda took it easy since I haven't been feeling well all week. Tried Friday night to get on, logged in and got dropped so I said not worth it tonight.

Should get a shot or two during the week but unsure.

Finished up the Halloween quest to get skelle clickie mask. Got the TSS Tier 1 Armor molds for both the chest and wrist. Got a Couple AAs in a sunderrock group, including a very hairy situation with my rogue and a BL and pet at less than 20% and 2 mobs to kill after rest of group was wiped. It was very tricky but we managed to pull it off.

Those are the moments that make EQ so much fun. Good job! Smiley: clap

Friday - Got home from a two weeks of beind out to sea with the Navy. (Went to Manzinilla, Mexico. Logged on EQ, work called, went back to work for another couple of hours. Guess they can't get enough of me...Played long enough to get my familiar earring and than gave up on playin eq and played couch potato the rest of the night.

Saturday - Me and the wife and a good friend ran around Norrath getting our Halloween Mask!!! Woot, the stats were upgrades for all of us! Now I'm a skellie with a bow.

Sunday - Took a road trip up to a small town in the mountains. Nice to get away from everything every now and then. Logged on EQ later and pinged aa 112. Got 4 on que, not sure what to spend them on yet. LOL

Monday - Back out to sea for another 3 days :(

Friday - Spent the night in Amsterdam. Got lost in the Red Light District, missed the last train home, and couldn't find a hostel with any rooms. Ended up spending the night at the train station after hitting a few more coffee shops than intended.

Saturday - Finally got a train home, stumbled in mid-morning. Slept most of the day and spent the rest unpacking and doing laundry.

Sunday - Logged in Klon, dinged 53 and ran to Lava for a new Bone Fist Sheath and various augs. Dusted off my 66 beastlord and spent some time buying upgrades and augs for her as well. Went from 3700 hps unbuffed to 5800 in gear upgrades mostly from DoN gear.

Monday - Created a new troll shaman, leveled him to 7 but couldn't stand the look of him and deleted him. Created another shaman - froglok this time, leveled him to 10. Thought about deleting him and creating an Ogre Shaman. Maybe this weekend :)
