Some minor questions that are bugging me:

  • What's again the maximum mana regen by worn items? (standard / with AA)

  • Anyone ever tried to call the Steadfeast Servant during a PC duel? Will he buff both players or only the one who called him?

  • Until when would you recommed the DoN crafted armor, when would you change to other gear? (talking 'bout Master/Grandmaster stuff)
I'm at work, and I'm bored... Smiley: snore

Standard Manna Regen is 15.

I use DON crafted at expert level. Have gotten away from it as its hard and expensive to find Master GM troll. (Too lazy to make smithing again. Jonwin is 187 and holding.) I do like the GM that I see so would think about it then. Have to save a LOT of money. Note you can use DON augs on diff levels of armor, level dependant.
edit That is Expert armor on Master level, or Master augs on expert armor, if you are the correct level to wear master.

Mana regen...

Without AA, it caps at 15 from items.
With AA it caps at 20 from items (edit: pre-TSS, see next post with TSS cap)

Remember that Mental Clarity has nothing to do with mana regen from items.

No idea about the Steadfast Servant.

The properly augmented DoN grandmaster armor is tough to beat outside of loot from raiding loot. You would have to evaluate it based on an item by item basis and what is obtainable. The master level armor can be replaced by even some of the tier 1 OoW armor.

For Mana regen;

W/O AA's cap is 15
W/ OoW AA Expansive Mind cap is 20
W/ TSS AA Labrythine Mind cap is 25

Not sure about the steadfast servent, havent dueled anyone except to ghetto gate.

As far as DoN armor, like mentioned the GM armor is tough to beat outside of raiding, at least for the BP and Greaves. Anything lower then GM armor you can probably get equivalent or better in the bazaar. At the higher levels for GM armor there are stones dropped in DoDh raids that can be used to make some very nice augments, below is an example.

Everybody always forgets that hybrids get an extra FT AA called convalescance. So whatever max is for everyone else now its 1 more for hybrids.

I believe Convalescence raises your innate HP regen and doesnt affect mana regen at all, or the cap, which is what the question was. FT cap from worn items is 25 with all of the AAs.

Back when the Vet. Rewards were released, someone from a Zek server (pre-merge) was complaining on The Concert Hall that his Servant was throwing 300hp/tick heals on his opponents.

"Supernal Cleansing on the guy I'm trying to kill isn't really much of a reward." Smiley: laugh

I'm guessing that the Servant views any PC as a valid random target.

Convalescence is HP only, but Mind and Body rejuvenation is hybrid and does give an extra FT, so you're both right, kinda.

25 for all except hybrids, which have 26.

But we are solely talking about the FT cap from worn items. Body and Mind Rejuvination, like Mental Clarity only affect your innate mana regen. Only Expansive Mind (OoW) and Labrythine Mind (TSS) affect the cap for worn FT.

Thanks for the replies, guys!

Another question: Anyone else noticed that the Key to old Seb (Trakanon Idol) goes to your key ring after first use, but doesn't show up on it? Or is it just me?

Edit: bad English...
