It seems actually it was any quest, from turning in bone chips, to doing jboots. If a lvl 1 is grouped with anyone lvl 59+, the high level character gets massive amounts of aa exp. 71 aa's when a lvl 1 completes j-boot quest....

Seems people found an exploit in the Thurgadin dain missions. Was giving out AA's left and right incorrectly so Soe said no way can we allow this. Funny how they jump when its something people like, they sure havent worried much about all the major bugs were having now.
There has been an emergency patch on EQ today, due to following quote from Raghnell
Quote:
Servers are now up. I apologize for the emergency update but we felt this was required in order to fix an exploit with AA experience. We do not regard the taking down of the servers lightly and we appreciate your patience. I would also like to apologize for the lack of communication surrounding the update. We were concentrated on dealing with the issue and our communication suffered. We do believe that communicating to the community is extremely important and we will re-double our efforts going forward.
There are no words out of what will happens to those people who have exploited the thing and if they are going to be punished, which imo they should by banning, or roll back.
Does that mean that cheating is ok on EQ, even if you get caught ?
Some persons have got 71 aa for turn in of single bone chips, so how many have they got in total ?
SoE need to send out a signal that this cheating is being punished and people will be banned/thier AA taken away.
If they do not, does SoE have any credibility at all ?
