Well like the title asks. Are there any old EQ players. Since I switched over to the dark side er I mean started playin WoW a few months ago I still have my EQ habits with me (ei. Having an inc macro,trying to con mobs). Anyway, I haven't run into many EQ players on the server I'm on and pretty much every1 I've run into thinks EQ was gimp. Kind of bothers me seeing as EQ influences can be seen in the game (guess for what game the dkp system was made for). I kinda poke fun at the guys who started playing mmo's on WoW by saying WoW's noob (dont even argue this point, it is) meaning everything is pretty much easy to get to. From lvling to gear it's not that hard if you put in the sufficient amount of time, which isn't much. Anyway......CHEESE

Oh, and as far as I remember... the EQ forums here have never been forum=4, was it? Hasn't the ***ylum always been forum=4 (at least since it was created)?

I guess I rate as both an old EQ player in terms of age (just turned the big 4-0 this year), and in terms of being on a server for a long time as I began playing with the introduction of Kunark. One of our guildies is moving to WOW mainly to play with others who shifted, but he too pokes fun at how easy it is to get toons to high levels; I was stunned to find out that you can not fail a tradeskilled item! Bristlebane must be tormented by that, and frankly I'm not upset about blowing a combine since, well, it's a game 'fer crying out loud!
