I have been gone for about two months. I left becasue i could never find a group. I consider myself a casual player. I play for about 2-3 hours at a time. Three times a week. One day a week a try and really have a go and go until i see doubles on the screen. Seems like i would spend an hour looking for a group, 20-30 min to organize the group and meet somewhere only to actually play for an hour.

I am level 70 and i like my toon. I play FV and do not want to re-roll or go to another server. Now with the cap at 75. Am i going to be a dinosaur at 70 that will have even a harder time finding work. I think i was at 8.4K hp and 2200 AC with around 250 AAs. I play a pally. I have most tradeskills up to 200. So i have tried that.

I work odd hours so i have never been able to committ to raids or long groups ahead of time. I am in a guild. But its still hard woking around my schedule. Everyother W/E, rotating day and night shifts.

Am i going to run into the same wal? Or any ideas on how i can actually be in game and actually be doing something prductive besides killing farming for plat. I like EQ and i do miss playing. But it is getting less and less enjoyable.

A 70 pally with that HP and AC wont get many groups, sorry =/
Its not the level that makes you miss out on alot of groups, its your gear. A semi casuall lvl 70 wizard would have more hp then that..

Not to sound discouraging, but I think you probably will run into the same thing that's discouraged you before. If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.

I'd suggest making an alt, something way at the opposite end of the spectrum from a paladin (i.e. a "solo" class). Now try logging into your pally with a specific amount of time you're going to LFG in mind. Once that time elapses, log onto the alt toon and just give the class a shot.

When I hit the "blah" period with my main, I did this same thing and now that alt is level 65 lol, and I have a blast playing either of them if the other can't find work. I seriously think just sticking to the one class and banging your head into the wall when you aren't grouping or whatever will make the game dull for you very quick. Making an alt may reinvigorate you.

well, unbuffed I think it would be ok. if thats raidbuffed, now that'd be a different story, but it would still depend on the content you're fighting. while newest could be out of scope, there is still some planes i.e. you would do great.

one thing though: with the increased mana and HP regen, my pallie can now sit on a horse and be the mainhealer in some (not all!) groups. would work even better with healing AA's maxxed. ever thought about that?

apart from that, yes, make an alt. twink him or don't. start over on a different server (e.g. sleeper). make a solo class. try a female Drakkin bard :-D

edit: frikkin typos...

I was much in the same situation, my sks hps sucked and I was always LFG. I made a druid box and my wife and I triod with sk beast and druid. She made a ranger and we took on better content, got better gear, then I made a third box, a cleric and now my sk would raid buff (if I raided) to high 14k, almost 15. I'm in the military and change shifts on someone elses whim so I also don't raid, but DODH Ro and TSS gear is very very nice for group gear.

Off to work on a saturday, but good luck.

FV is a ghost town compared to other servers. I have 4 70s and a Wizard twink there and the only thing that would remotely motiviate me to return is the server closing and free transfers to server of your choice (like SH).

Which will *never* happen. Because of the 1 character per account ratio, FV is actually very profitable compared to other servers.

So.. check every month or so.. but don't hold your breath.
