Simply wondering if anyone has seen/heard of it dropping since 2003?...

From what I have gathered, I hypothesize it only drops from "Cral Ligi" type aliens; if you have evidence to disprove this, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be a lot of confusion about this item, and ANY information you can add will be most useful.

I guess it drops or dropped in the "secret" area through the underwater tunnel. But I spent many, many hours there killing tons of vas rens (mainly) for condensed ice. I never saw it drop, though I was always keeping an eye out for it. I didn't kill as many of the other types of aliens as I did vas ren so it could drop from the cral ligi or grol baku. I also don't discount the possibilty that it is just a ultra-rare drop.
