Avoid the PoK run from Crescent ReachFollow

Just use the Priest of Discord in Crescent Reach. He sends you to Dranik's Scar, beside the other priests of Discord. They send you to PoK, rather than to Cresent Reach, which is VERY handy. I was back in PoK in about 30 seconds :)

On a side note, that would have REALLY helped the lvl 70 character (Pally, I think it was) that I read about elsewhere... He /ooc'd for someone to Invis him and escort him to the PoK Stone and whined when no-one would :D When given a loc in ooc, he sneered that he'd never learnt the Loc system "because that was for noobs"... go figure THAT one! Finally, sick of being laughed at, he ooc'd that he was "going to give it a try, but that if he died on the way he'd come back and make everyone's life a misery" :D Absolutely hilarious.

What hazards could possibly threaten a level 70 in Blightfire on a run to the PoK book? Been making the run since level 15.

My question is when I use Go Home, last two times it sent my non-Drakkin characters to Crescent Reach. Actually was quite convenient so I am not complaining...

Time savings might be a consideration to use PoD though.

Nothing could remotely threaten him, and as you say, it's easy enough - I did the run at lvl 1 with no gear whatsoever. Just had to give stuff a wide berth, apart from the snakes. Of course, if I'd talked to Arias in the Tutorial, he would have sent me straight to PoK, apparently. Live and learn :)

I`ve found it can be a pain unless you stick to the road. Just some of those easy mobs can aggro from a distance.

Strangely, my friend, on his PC and laptop, can see the road, but on both my PC's, I can't see any sign of a road, or even a faint path. My machines are completely different to each other, so maybe there's a graphic setting I need to adjust.

Ahh, there was a setting to adjust, in the Advanced display options - the Lighting. As soon as I changed that, a broad, brown pathway appeared. Turned it off again, as it isn't really needed, but nice to solve the minor mystery of why I couldn't see the path!

Necro-posting aside, how does a lvl 70 paladin classify as a "new peep"? Smiley: dubious

If a level 70 Paladin is asking for an invis and escort in Blightfire Moors, they'd have to be a noob.

I am guessing the 70 paladin was named "andrnich" Smiley: laugh
