crashing on login :: Free Realms

i've been crashing on login for 3 days now coplete freeze of the computer
i did complete file check . i know it's not the computer hardwere, my computer is done up to the nuts. but when i try to login with no other programs running, the computer freezes, i have to reset

Something kinda not really similar happened to me. I used the clicky port to crecent reach and went linkdead in the port then everytime I tried to log in EQ crashed. I had set my eq options to predownload the expansion, but somehow my computer decided I didn't need the TSS zones so when I tried to load in it crashed every time. I realize you've made a drakkin so you most likely have all the zone files but ensure that it does indeed have every expansion clicked on under advanced.

I keep crashing in the new zones. I get a video card error and have to reboot my puter. But I can play anywhere else without it being a problem. Not sure what the problem is.

i found out it seems to be my modem . i loose conection about 8 times aday. it's a cable modem this shouldn't happen it takes anywhere from 10 to 60 min to get back on the net. i sent emails to sahwcalbe . i'll call monday i think a mantinance on the net out there in my area .

I had the same problem several times after having patched some EQ .exe-files. I found out that it was my firewall and/or anti virus software... be sure to turn your firewall off or put it in learning mode so it doesn't block EQ.

After a certain patch, the same thing happened to me. After three times I started to get pissed off but after shutting off my Firewall, it worked perfectly. Try that and see if it works.
