Good morning boys and girls, this was my weekend:
Thu: Weekly meeting with friends. We went to Burning Woods and had a little killing spree. We still have to find our pace with the new regen and con system. Didn't ding, but had incredible skill-ups.
Fri-Sun: No EQ, shopping, walking, spending time with my girlfriend. Still very nice weekend.

Did a few (60ish) LDoNs with my Iksar monk. Barely got a yellow of xp even with 2xp running. Can't tell the racial penalty is gone...
Made a Drakkin Ranja. Leveled him to 21. I have replaced his 'twink' LDoN crafted stuff with trash drops which, except for AC, are far superior for the level. I am debating whether to try some Journeyman's DoN gear or just wait for more quested/dropped gear and then go for Expert's. I got a req level 23 aug with +2 mana and +1 regen for one quest. Got a quested mask with a clicky 20pt poison resist buff for taking a potion 100ft inside the city and taking a return back.
I will say we have a new game now. Quested/Dropped gear plus the new regen has changed things 10 times more than any other expansion. I am reluctant to go back to the previous content to tell you the truth.

Friday: Got online late and dinked around with creating a drakkin. I had originally been thinking about a druid, but after seeing the race and playing with the character creations screens, decided I liked my wood elf druid better. Ended up with a red drakkin Warrior named Darrak. Switched some equipment over from a 20 W/E warrior I haven't played in 2 years and deleted it. Got the Drak to lvl 3 and logged.
Saturday: I had my trader up most of the day while working in the yard. My kids were busy watching a movie so I sat down to see what had sold, and ooc'ed for a shattered emerald of corruption MQ(although I was sure i would never be able to afford it). Someone replied, and was willing to do the turn in for FREE
We ran to NK, did the turn in and I now have Swiftwind and Earthcaller 
I stuck around long enough to try out the Earthcall proc, then logged to make dinner for the kids. When I got back on after the kids were asleep I logged the Drakkin in and got him to 10 in the tutorial, then headed to CR. It was late tho so I didn't explore CR much. Still not sure about playing a Warrior, although the new OoC regen makes it ALOT more fun. SK would be my other option on the Drakkin I think, but if I had to guess right now I'd say the Warrior will probably hang around.
Sunday: GRRRRRR...phone line/internet problems. No EQ for me(at least football and the race was on).

Can't remember what I did day to day, but spent most of the time dinking around. Started a Drakkin rogue, got him to level 4 and realized I already have a level 25 rogue. Deleted him. Started a Drakkin cleric from the black dragon's line and got him to level 10. Liking him so far. It's the first cleric I've ever played and it looks really cool to have such a dark looking toon (black tattoos, grey eyes, dark hair, etc) healing toons.
Actually lost experience on my main from all the exploring the new zones. Tried soloing the queen in the stone hive. Apparently it's a raid because my OoC regen was 5 minutes after I faded. I ended up having half the hive on me and killing me. I then found a locked door in the inn in CR, opened it with my bard and found a "gift" in the room. Nothing about it anywhere on here or eqplayers yet. Found a quest giving dragon in Blightmoor. Haven't worked on that quest yet though. Logged out of frustration from not being able to get a group with my main.

Fri - Figured I'd check out the new expansion. Logged in Netos and wandered around in Blightfire, Goru Mesa (or whatever it's called), and Sunderock Springs. Killed a bunch of grey stuff before I figured out it was grey on the screen not white. Tried out the Skellie quest in Blightfire but couldn't find the guy to turn the stuff into at the end. Got sidetracked while looking for him by the Slumbering Moor named but he wasn't interested in me. Ended up trying to solo some lt blue mobbies in Sunderock but they were wacking me around pretty good.
Sat - Just couldn't keep from creating a Drakkin. Picked a wizard since I had some lowbie gear on my trader. Zipped Blerion through level 10 in the tutorial than headed to Crescent Reach. Had an awesome time playing him but by level 15 or so he was getting impossible to solo. Ran some quests. Had the most fun doing quests I think. Got the first two levels of the Dragon Breath AA done and some newbie armor made. Did a few others - find this, kill that, etc. Great stuff!
Sun - Got up early to spend some more time on my wizzy - but decided to create a Drakkin monk instead. I had seen some nice monkie drops the day before :) Created Klon and zipped him through the tutorial too. Stole some gear off my beastlord so he wasn't completely naked and explored some more of Crescent Reach. I got so enveloped in the game I didn't realize how late it was and ended up going to be at 4am! Dinged 30 though!
