(300) Smithing and trophy @ 6/7 progression...HELP!!Follow

I just reached (300) smithing finaly, however, when it was at (290) my trophy stopped evolving despite the trivial NOT being green (Mistletoe cutting sickles, (335) and yes, it was activated the whole time).
Is this normal?
I got my trophy when my smithing was at (267) and as anyone knows who has one, you get it pre-evolved once you finish the quest to a level thats based on your current skill level. At (267) I think mine was at a starting level of 5/7 and 34% progression. Now from my understanding by the time you hit (300) it is suppose to be fully evolved @ 7/7 = +15% skill Mod.

Is there a way to finish the evolution? and if so, what recipe?

This happened close to the downloading time of the new expansion, so I /petitioned and then was told to do a /bug report. But since I don't know if the above is normal, I'm not sure if its a /bug...

Any input from a Master trophy holder would be good.

This is not a bug. You can first get the trophy quest with a skill of 50 and the trophy is at level 1 if you do so. The trophy is meant to evolve every 50 skill ups meaning that if you skill up to 300 after obtaining the trophy, you will be at 6/7. The only exception to this is if you obtain and complete the trophy quest with a skill of 300. In that case you will get a fully evolved trophy. This does not mean you cannot obtain level 7/7, you just have to continue doing combines with a trivial of 300+ until it fully evolves.
