As much as I would like to play at 7pm EST I will probably have to wait until tommorow....
Yes, they are up.
If you have problems logging in or get the message window that you need to wait, just keep spamming the login screen. It is just a backlog of everyone trying to enter at the same time.

Just encountering 2 hours of downloads. I even signed up to have the files downloaded pre release too.

Just finally made it to server selection and it says all servers are locked. FYI.

I started the downloads then took a nap. This is my day off work (until Sunday) and I never really noticed when this was going to happen.

Over the years, I have found it's best to just ignore EQ for a couple of days, after a big patch. It's just not worth the hassle of trying to play, usually. After a couple of days the patch of the patch of the previous patch's patch is done, and by day three you can generally play ok, heh.
