getting new spells ?? being lvl 70,and not having any 69/70 spells im not even gonna bother with trying out this expansion. not yet..
You (and other casual players) should be quite pleased with the TSS spell system. As many may already know, most spells are going to be tiered and increase in power:
Tier 1 - Vendor sold....that's right, your core spells for 71-75 will be on vendors
Tier 2 - Drops off mobs or questable, these spells will also be tradeable so you can pick them up in the bazaar
Tier 3 - Drops from raids
This is great for all players in my opinion. The tier 1 spell is still an upgrade over your previous spell in that line and most people should not have a problem with upgrading to tier 2. If anything, casual players still searching for 69-70 runes should get this expansion asap since it provides them with an easier opportunity to upgrade their existing spells.

Would rather have the boxed verson since i have EQ on 2 computers. Doind downloads was never my deal.
This never made much sense to me. The only reason I ever bought the boxed version was for the /claim. No matter what, I have still always had to patch a bunch of files on launch day because those CDs have to be pressed well in advance to the actual launch day. The CDs are outdated before you purchase them because the beta process is still ongoing right up until the expansion goes live. Data is constantly changing as bugs are fixed and zones are updated, so the CDs might as well come packaged with AOL software to illustrate how useless they are.
