Good morning everyone! I had an unbelievable weekend in EQ, must have been my best session ever...

Thu: My friends were too tired to play, so my 54 Bst went to Dranik's on his own. /ooc-ed and was invited to group with two lvl 70ies, a monk and an enchanter, who were both working on faction, so I got all the exp. It was insane. The monk was on a killing spree, and I couldn't loot stuff as fast as he was killing the mobs. Got three yellow bubbles within an hour and dinged 55. Smiley: grin Sadly the enchanter died (no idea how) and the monk had to leave, so I went back to PoK and had a look at the loot. Hey, wow, a Mudflow Stone! And some gems, cool! What's that? A fishing bait? Gonna look it up at Allakhazam. There it is, Slugwo............Smiley: jawdrop Smiley: jawdrop Smiley: jawdrop

Sold it immediately to a buyer in barter zone for 20k (cheapest offer in Bazaar was 30k). Upgraded some gear (finally I can use the cultural master augments!) and went to improve my Slipgear's Gem. Made it to the Hive for the second time ever - died 5 times trying during the last months. Logged at the zone line as it late and I was tired.

Fri: Continued with Slipgear’s Task and managed to update two of the six locations before my invis broke and I died. Did some minor tradeskilling afterwards and created some Taelosian Lemon Pie.

Sat&Sun: Shopping, cinema, sightseeing, meeting friends. Nice and relaxing, no EQ.

I’m very content and got the feeling of having accomplished something in EQ, without feeling the need to play asap. That’s nice.

Today my thoughts go to those who lost their friends and family members 5 years ago. I hope you found your peace.

Friday...jumped into a group heading to Plane of Disease, dinged 56 and got a buffer built up(54 must be a hell level because it took twice as long as 55, and I've had the AA slider on some since I hit 55).

Saturday...Finally did some serious work on my epic 1.0. Just a little combat that my 56 ranger and a 70 ranger friend could easily handle, lots of running, some foraging, and some faction work. For getting no experience for several hours playtime, it was still a very good feeling to get as much accomplished as I did.

Sunday...Jumped on for a hour or so in the morning for a little more work on the epic. Ended up going to the mall in the afternoon with the girlfriend(engagement ring shopping) and my kids(needed shoes). While I was there, and since everyone else was getting something, I finally bought PoR. Installed last night and was still patching when I left for work(stupid dial up). I should be enjoying my new bank slots and Daining(yes its a verb now) tonight while watching MNF. Yay for me!!!

Played in middle/end of last week and got a level for the cleric and a ping for the SK again.

As for the weekend, it was a spend time with the other half weekend. So no playtime for me.

Thursday night I first logged on rogue in OT. Guild was there killing cliff golems but that was too out ofmy league. Did get some throwing skill ups on the mobs however. Grouped with a ranger and dinged 37.
Then with the help of a bard jammmaster, I took the shaman jonwinnie back to com to pick up the books and idol for my epic. Got both with not much problem, but poor jamm didnt get the reaver he was looking for. Then I did a half hour in draniks scar with the guild, ding 58.
Friday was the turn around cruise for the Constellationso I had a 12 hour day. Came back home, logged in and decided to run to Ej for the book turn in. As I went to the spirit, and handed in the books the puppy was in the way. At the same time I was aggroed by a gorilla and hit the give button. OH NO the dog has the books. Well at least he was paper trained. I did a petition and then noticed from rereading the quest at this site that there was another spirit who took the books.
Found him and was waiting around for my petition to be answered. While adding a note to the petition I forgot I was underwater and drowned. ( DUH)
Got a 100 percent rezz from guildmate and logged.
Saturday was another long day, worked the tour bus and went to Science Fiction society meeting. Came home to have note from GM that books would be restored.
Went to bed happy. :)
Sunday logged on shaman again, and after an hour I did get the books back, along with a note to really be careful when doing hand ins. Spent some time shopping but not before summoning a lot of ale and getting my tolerance level up from 80 to 90, sobered up while out. I then did 3 LDons in No Ro, only 700 points more until Remove Greater Curse! Picked up a small improve to wrist armor and a blue diamond.
One of the dungeons the tank was a ranger, with 2 clerics and myself the shaman.
The last dungeon was a guild affair 57 to 66. I was healer! Had our warrior tank, a monk to pull, and a mage and wizard to burn stuff down. Hardly ever had time to slow! Puttered around a bit after that.

Some time, Friday ngiht perhaps?, I finally got my cleric to 65 with the help of AS so I could cast Hand of Virtue! (and Pacification). Then I found out that group buffs no longer work on a player's pet if it's cast on it. Ah, well.

I love the guild I am in....HAIL DOTRF....Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun evening was spent with my guildies raiding/grouping ARCSTONE. It was awesome! We looted a total of 7 Marks, a few rare rings/w mana V (crushed ??? ring, sorry cant remember name, and completed several ARC/RELIC quests and personnally I racked up 7 AA's. Our guild events have really sparked my interest in the game. To think this wasnt even my "best" weekend playing EQ. Life is good.

The Alliance guild I belong to on Quellios finally Defeated Sullon Zek mistress of rage. From the time we started to clear the tower had to kill Snowtail cause he was still up till Sullon was down was 5 hard hrs but we got her, we now have access to deathknell, only took us about 12 or so tries to get her 1st try that day.
Was also a server first for Quellious.

Bleh, TOO much EQ this weekend.

Logged on for what I thought was only gonna be a few minutes to pick up spells Sat. morning and ended up getting into a raid that lasted some four stinkin' hours. Didn't stay til the end but still got 2 flags out of the way. Afterwards I felt guilty though because I'd just spent much of one of the last beautiful weekend days of the summer in the house in front of a computer.

...and Sunday I was signed up for another raid. This one was shorter though and I made sure to spend all morning out getting yard work done, exploring the forest, tending to my lil' flock of birds I'm growing and hanging clothes...the preceding raid was a blast. It was only our guild. While killing a mob he swallowed us into his gut then spit us out when he decided we were just too much for him. Killed him again and he gave us his mouth.

Finally got the tainted cyclops to spawn for the dr00d 1.0(!!) and got the Hedge Maze thing done for the Druid as well.

It was a rare 5-day weekend for me, although I was on-call.

I started with learning 2 languages. Then took about 2 hours, using this website of course, to finally do some inventory cleanup on my main and 3 mule characters. I must have delete 125 items and sold about 50 more. I can't tell you how good that finally felt.

Got an guildy invite to help him farm a Dull Stone of Sorrow Aug in Dranik Scar(I don't have any Augs yet as I just never got around to it). In 2hrs, we ended up getting two, one for each guy. We even had another guildy stop by for 30mins to help out. Made about 400pp in the drops too.

Did some serious planning on the last 4 setps in getting my epic, all mini raids that I need about 4-7 peeps helping me out.

The rest of the weekend was cleaning up the garage, doing some yard work, lots of time with the kids, getting ready for hockey season and of course drinking some Nectar of the Gods (aka glorous beer).

Spent time in WoS with my main and pinged 102 and grabbed a muramite rune and got the lv 68 SK pet spell Son of Decay...was very happy, then had to log cause was getting late and had to get up for work the next day

Went out to the bar with my roommie Friday night and had a blast, no EQ.

Saturday had an all day cookout at a friends house. Buddy of mine's band was playing and there was a pig roast...and 4 kegs :-) Crashed there and came back home Sunday morning...no EQ.

Sunday almost finished the darkforge armor part of my 1.0 for my SK, went back to WoS for more grouping with the main and picked up another muramite rune and got the Blood of Inruku spell...happy again :-)

Workin on my epic all week, hopefully very happy for next weekend's update :-)

WTG Bbot! It's weekends like that which let you smile the whole week (and make the folks you work with very nervous).

Friday: Duoed the Mage and Cleric in Draniks, and got a Bloodflow Stone, but unfortunately it got eaten by Bristlebane when our guild TSer tried a combine to upgrade it; easy come easy go.

Saturday: More duoing, but not much by way of drops. However, got the cleric to 56, and mage is only 5% from 58.

Sunday: No EQ as I ended up at my family's house doing fall cleaning, then out to a festival for overpriced, poor quality food; daughter had fun so it was worth it.

My guild killed Sullon Zek for the first time on Sunday night. Welcome to Deathknell. Server 2nd, and only 32 mins shy of being the server first. PS - Killed OMM for the first time on Tuesday night too. Lots of guild firsts and server seconds lately.
