Will You Roll Out a Drakkin?Follow

I made sure I have room for a Drakkin. They look sweet. I am sooo excited to see the new content,...I always love to see new stuff. I have two low toons that just dont seem to interest me enough to play,..im hoping the Drakkin along with the new content will spark me wanting to play a low level toon again and who knows,..maybe it will be a high lvl toon at some point. I say YAY for the new race and new content!

Recently I missed playing my previously deleted Ranger, so I was fixing to make another when I decided to check and see if the Drakkin could be one, and since I'd planned on trying out the new race I decided to wait and make my RNG a Drakkin.

Maybe. I play on Zek, and understand that one of the Drakkin types gets an MR boost. That would be good. Don't know how much boost though. Probably not that much, like +35 to start or something. I'm thinking Monk. Not sure if that'd be any better than making an Ikky for the regen. and AC boost. There's always twinkage for MR. I'll have to wait and see what I see on the char. select screen...

Is it true they can be any class but shaman and beastlord?

Make one? Probably not. Or least as far as the creation page to see starting stats and classes only. But my real reason for posting here is to ask if there are any other AD&D gamers out there who think that the Drakkin sound alot like the Prestige class, Dragon Disciple. Anybody? Still love the game (EQ and AD&D) immensely and will most likely check out the zone if and when I get the expansion. Which leads to another question. Serpents Spine expansion, having it to be able to make a Drakkin is pretty much a given, but the zone itself, is it open to everyone like PoK and the Guild Lobby are now? Or do you have to have the expansion to even get there?

They can't be a berzerker,shaman,beastlord. That much I do remember from reading about them all.

Black=Resist to Disease
War,Sk,Clr,Rog,Bard,Enc,Wiz,Mage,Necro

Green=Resist to Poison
War,Rng,Mnk,Clr,Dru,Rog,Baed,Enc,Wiz,Mage

Blue=Resist to Magic
War,Rng,Mnk,Clr,Dru,Rog,Bard,Enc,Wiz,Mage

White=Resist to Cold
War,Pal,Mnk,Bard,Clr,Enc,Wiz,Mage

Gold=Minor Resist to all forms of Magic
War,Pal,Mnk,Bard,Clr,Enc,Wiz,Mage

Ok, so we got all of the evil types but only one good type? wth is wrong with this?

I'm going to roll a Drakkin because I like the fact that with this expansion you can level from 1-75 without ever leaving the new zones. This is part of the reason I'm going to give EQ another shot before I decide to leave for good.

I'm gonna probably play a Drakkin Mage, since its the only class I've never played.

My monthly RENT isn't that much. How much money do you earn, and can you hook a guy up? DAMN!

I am thinking about rolling a new character. It will almost certainly be a shadow knight. I haven't decided whether it will be a drakkin or not, but the breath weapons do make them attractive.

Mainly, I want to be able to see all of the new zones.
