I can understand scrounging about in the nooks and cranies of the PoK and finding bookworms and fishing grubs, but what's up with all the Habanero Peppers?

Do you eat your roots, throw them away, give them to people? Roots should stack to 100 like arrows do. Roots should have some kind of incentive to consume them. Every toon every day should eat one root. A root a day keeps _____________?? away.

My favorite foraged meal: Chameleon Rats from some of the DoN zones and Azure Nightshade (I’m sure it provides more than just nutritional sustenance)

3 pods of water plus a bottle makes a flask of water that can be used for tradeskilling….that’s a lot of work to avoid the 2gp 7sp you have to pay for a stack of water flasks. Do you recycle your pods?

How is it you can forage from 100 feet in the air or 100 down in the water but you can’t forage from the back of a horse?

What is the most valuable item foragable?

I want to believe that each zone has one unique rare beneficial forageable item but I don’t think that’s the case. :(

I am not sure on which particular item, but the most profitable zone seems to be Western Wastes. The eggs and the tufts of fur all sell well in the bazaar.

I give them to my nonforaging alts. I am cheap like that.

For some reason my barbarian beastlord really loves that meal (I hesitate to ask him why). The rats are to rough on my druid's sensitive constitution, he only likes picnics. Druid primadonnas, I tell you Smiley: rolleyes.

I always figured its because we were to busy eating. For some reason sitting on a horse makes me doubly hungry. No time for healing/nuking, much less to forage. Smiley: wink

SOE figured since there are so many people full of hot air in that zone that they might as well add an item to help perpetuate it.

One of the best parts of going to a new zone was seeing what weird and wonderful things I would forage there.

Yes, I'm a druid now.

Ogame was a blast but I couldn't do it...I wanted to just keep attacking and attacking and finding more targets and building more and bigger and saving my fleet....'sigh'...I got in trouble. I played Eve-Online for awhile...loved it, but closed my account when we lost internet for awhile and haven't felt like I could splurge on yet another montly game fee.

I play EQ with my husband mostly but have started doing a bit of raiding with some people....a normal old guild full of people...PoP stuff mostly. I am refraining from buying any new expansions and biding my time waiting for Vanguard to come out. I hope it's at least an ok game.

Javis is in college now too. I hope he's not drinking much:)

You still are NOT playing this game? You almost done with school?

..

Editted...we'll just call it PMS, eh. >.<

I went to PoS for the first time this weekend...was disappointed when I didn't forage anything new.

The University of Illinois and I didn't see eye to eye about my grades, so they to me to GTFO. I took a semester off to work, and I'm now enrolled full time at the local community college. Next semester, I'm going to transfer down to UIC and live in the city.

Where did Javis end up going to school?

I remember someone long ago describing how she was on her first PoF raid and was full of wonderment at being in the Planes and terror at the stories she had heard and wondering what would happen...

...and then she foraged fishing grubs. Smiley: laugh

Not that you asked, but I'm still retired myself. I've taken up casually playing the free MMORPG Rubies of Eventide but mainly just because it's free so I don't have to worry about it. Inlee Moondark lives on in Dark Paladin form!

Lookie all the stuff getting foraged up here.

Sorry about UoI Twiz; seemed like you were enjoying it there. Kudo's for hanging in there with classes. Javis is going to some preppy little private school in upstate NY. 500 Miles from home, but only about 35 from his big sister:) So far he seems to be loving it.

Joph, I think I first heard about Vanguard from you - a looong time ago. You gonna try it out? GOBLINS are gonna be a playable race!!
