I helped a pally get her epic step in FP on my main, and need to get faction fixed there. What can i do to not have to worry about invis when running to arcstone?

Also, a friend needed help in Neriak, and needed a chanter, and my chanter is a DE, and well, her faction is now jacked in neriak, how can i fix that easiest please?

Thank you in advance for your help.

p.s. these are two seperate characters.

If you helped in killing Lucan it's gonna take some work to get your self non-kos to the majority of East Freeport Guards. Lucan is on The Freeport Militia faction as well as some Coalition (name escapes me) though...so there are lots of quests.

I haven't a clue as far as Neriak goes but you can look up one of the KoS NPCs in the beastiary. See what factions he/she is one and then, as someone else mentioned just a few posts down, you can look up quests by faction. Check the column of stuff at the left.

Easiest way to fix the Neriak factions (that matter: Dread Guards Inner/Outer) is to do the Red Wine quest in Neriak 3rd Gate. The turn-in NPC is on Dark Bargainers faction, so hopefully you did not trash that one. Buy tons of red wine and turn them in to the NPC in the Library. Use invis to get there. There may be a few see-invis NPCs (like the exterminators) so be careful. There are no adverse faction hits from doing this quest.

If you trashed your caster guild's faction (The Spurned) you may not be able to fix it.

If you trashed Warriors faction (Indigo Bros) just avoid the Warriors Guild if possible.

If you want to get in good with the SKs and Necros, kill Arcane Casters in Nektulos (at the cost of good-races faction).

Doing the Ro Desert kill giants quests can raise your Freeport factions by the way.

Ok, thank you for the information, i was able to do the wine quest you mentioned and now i can somewhat safely walk through the area without being instakilled. I also found a faction quest to help with "The Spurned" i think, but it looks like it will be a pain.

The issue is i still cannot get the lady that gives out the quest for the adventeurer stone in Neriak to talk to me. I even tried to go to WK and Rathe mountrains, and neither of them will talk to me either.

I will see if the spurned faction quest i found will help, and if so i will post it here if anyone wants to know.

That's the first I've heard that it's possible to fix faction after killing Sir Lucan.
Do you know anyone currently playing who has killed Sir Lucan and has fixed their faction in FP?
I've heard of people who tried, but gave up after a billion hand-ins/quests had no faction change.

I have killed lucan about 5 times, and am amiable with the freeport militia.

However, we're talking about thousandes of goblin ears, orc scalps, gnoll scalps. Followed by running notes for janam and rebby, until I was sick of their faces.

As the above poster stated, to repair freeport militia faction you can turn in goblin ears in Highpass hold, and the orc and goblin scalps in highpass. You can also kill paladins or clerics in Freeport at the risk of trashing your faction with them. I have found that killing the paladins, pre zone change, was more of a challange then killing the militia guards.

For Freeport Militia faction, do the Inert Potions quest in Erudin Palace. As of a few months ago, the quest still worked, although the text had changed somewhat from when I did it back in the day. It's listed on this site.
