The Weekend Update - Sept. 5th, 2006Follow

Not much EQ this weekend...

Thu: Was late for the weekly session, played only for 1,5 hours. Didn't accomplish anything, but a friend gave this to me: Stave of the Eternal

Fri-Mon: Taking a day off, visiting my parents. Lots of fresh air, mountains and sailing.

That's it... how about your weekend?

Had a little EQ this weekend. Did a complete run of Sol Ro minis, all five of them in one sitting. Tried Sol Ro himself, but we didn't have the power. That was Saturday. On Monday I skipped the main and went to a pair of alts instead and worked over the Gunthak beach to help a cleric get his Temperance spell. Then went to Dulak and bumped out a level on the dynamic duo to finish up the weekend.

Horrible weather this weekend help keep me in and get more deck time that I thought I would. Got the cleric up to 56 and the mage just shy of 58 in DS. Also got some nice stone drops, so once I get my guilds jeweler to cut them, there will be some very good additions to my toons stats. Finally, I found an amazingly generous tradeskiller who GAVE me to wrists and gloves for my clerics cultural armor! No one had them available (Leatherfoot GM armor), so I sent an OOC. The gent that replied said he busted @ss to get the skill in the hopes he could make some plat selling them, but on my server they seem to just rot. I gave him 1K, frankly because I was embarrassed to take them for free, and worked out a deal for the rest of the set. A huge upgrade in the works for a humble cleric! Just proves that there still are people who play for the love of playing...

Took Vacation days Thursday and Friday to stretch my weekend to a nice long 5 days, and I loved every min of it :-) A lot of partying this weekend, and managed to win $100 in a poker game I'm a regular of...followed by a very fun night at the bar for my friends and I.

As for EQ...Got my Wizzie to 60, got the Rogue from 32-39, and continued workin on don faction with my main and pinged 101 :-)

My g/f was playing her necro and got her up to 22, she's learning fast :-) Can't wait til we get another comp and can play at the same time.
