what are some good quests you can do at a lower level to get some equipment/money? I am a erudite mage.

I dont know how things are now on this server but in 1999 when I started a good caster item was testament of Vanear or the glowing black stone drop in Qeynos Hills

The Bear Hide Boots quest in Qeynos hills is a good one for low toon casters. the Tortured skull in Kurns Tower is GREAT for low toons. With help or a group , the Embalmer, in Lake Rathe , 1st camp you run into , is good to farm for a 20 Mana secondary item, as well as +2 ( i think ) earring. Might wanna also look up Cubert , and see if it is anything you could use.
Then about 20's ish , named in Warsilick woods do well for drops.
