EverQuest® The Serpent's Spine™ Expansion
Digital Download

Pre-Order Now
Available Only Via Digital Download

Nestled in a great ravine in the Serpentspine Mountains lies Crescent Reach, home to the Drakkin - a new race created to protect the future of dragonkind. The Drakkin are humans that have been touched by the blood of a dragon in a ritual that infuses them with the dragon's inherent magic. The dragon-touched experience changes as the latent magic within the dragon's blood surfaces. Their hair takes on new texture and color - the same color as that of their parent dragon. Parts of their skin show small, toughened scales. Delicate horns appear in patterns on their forehead and runic patterns begin to show on their face, torsos and legs - all in the color of their dragon progenitor. As their new traits develop, a yearning to find their dragon parents grows deep within them. Many make a pilgrimage into the Serpentspine Mountains seeking out the refuge of Crescent Reach.

All players who purchase The Serpent's Spine expansion pack, no matter what race or character class they play, will be able to explore the new starting city of Crescent Reach: which is home to merchants, quests and combat. Players can utilize the area as a home base for adventure that spans all 75 levels and makes full use of the new dynamic gameplay features, including: auras, traps, and destructible terrain.

Features

New Player Race: The Drakkin have been created from both human and dragon blood to protect the future of all dragon kind. Several colors and customizations will be available to make each Drakkin character unique, such as elegant scale markings and horns.

Level Cap Increase: Players can now reach level 75, complete with new spells, abilities, raids and quests for greater power.

Content for Levels 1 to 75: Play through every level of the game without ever leaving the Serpent Spine Mountains.

Wonder if these new AA's are useable right a 51, or ar they going to only be like the DODH ones where you need about 100 points in a previous skill to use them.

I still will not be buying this until they either lower the price, or offer a retail version for the same price. I dont like paying $30 for a expansion and not get a cd for backup purposes, and a box to stare at.

level 75 Dragon people in 5 days.

I prefer to hunt in BlackBurrow, listen to the passing thunderstorm, and have an entire continent of Antonica to my self...

Doubt youll have any lvl 75 dragons anywhere near that fast, though you will defintley see a few into their 50s in that time. Take a good month until any 75 drakks I think.

it took me 30 hrs to get my cleric to lvl 50, thats with some pok standing around time. plus temp spell quest waitings. i'm sure now if 5 lvl 70's grouped with me and just killed easy for them reds and yellows for me. another 24-30 hrs of game time i'd get to 70

5 days , just look at the new progression servers 2 days to get to lvl 1 to 40-50 and that untwinked and not power leveled. mabe grouped well with guildies constantly.

hmm i just had a thought on a cool server idea. no npcs mertchantes. just quests of no drop items for armor and weapons, maby have tradeskill items still but that would be only items tradable

Remember when frogloks were made a playable race? It took somebody under 48 hours to level a frog from 1-65; another 24 hours to get the frog their clicky rez stick.

I'll give somebody <96 hours to hit level 75.

whats the point in rushing thru the game. takes all the fun out of leveling

i agree with you on not powerleveling through the game. i played 10 characters to lvl 15. most lvled in commonslands, then last 5 i lvl'ed in field of bone
then i made 6 more characters i power leveled them to 20 caus i didn't want to waist time repeating the same thing.

lvling now all to 30 some in 40's and 2 lvl 50 i have tried most zones, but still want to try every zone.

i just bought 4 more new accouncts titainum, i plan to creat the other class race combos i don't have. and now glad i did buy them with this new exp. i can make one account of that race too.

i plan to lvl a character in every zone. and can't wait for the new expansion.

i still don't have a character over 50 no AA skill s yet, i've been enjoying the too much my wife says, but i will go months without playing eq. i 'm playing anarchy online and shadow bane this month thier free now. last month was eq june was xbox games. may eq apr horizons and eq2, march wow dec-feb eq. i can't stick with one but i keep coming back to eq.

it's a bit hard to play anygame with a 20 moanth old son to take of at same time. grouping i hate to do incase i have to run after kid and get kid killed
