Morning everyone!

Back from holidays! Thanks Donbayne for posting last week's Update!

Didn't play EQ during the last week, but had a great stay on Corfu. Missing the sea already... Smiley: glasses

Logged in yesterday only for half an hour to complete the first Lambent Armor quest for my baby bard, multiquesting the drops with my main. Got the first piece (helm), just to realize that it is inferior even to the newbie armor helm... Smiley: lol

Nevermind, questing is still fun!

The week before, my Beastlord finally got the rare drop for the Malaria spell in Torgiran Mines, I have waited forever to get this spell. Been soloing quite a lot there, never got the drop. This time, our group cleared the lower part of the zone, and after an hour, the strange black powder was mine! Moreover, I dinged 54 by handing in the drop!!! Smiley: yippee

Looking forward to my weekly session on Thursday, missed EQ quite a lot last week...

My Druid finally got enough Ldon points in Tak to buy RGC.

One more adventure for my shammy to own it and three more for my Pally to own it.

It is kind of anti-climactic, I have wished for these for years, and now hardly ever have need of it, lol.

Friday: I went on my first Riftseekers Sanctum adventure. I got my last 69 spell!. I saw a glowing rune drop for the first time ever (passed since I had the greater already).

Saturday morning: My little beastie went back to Crystal Caverns, and dinged 33.

Saturday afternoon: We celebrated our youngest daughter's birthday party at an ice cream parlor and carousel rides (she loves horses). Then we went school clothes shopping for our two girls, talk about complete opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of fun. I knew I should have told the little swimmers to be boys Smiley: grin

Saturday night: We did 3 Dain 1 monster missions. Two more and we are done for our group. I am looking forward to 2 and 3 if they are as much fun as the first.

Sunday: I never logged on, just watched The Whole Ten Yards (though that one is still dubious to me and nowhere near as funny as the first).

Fri: High School Football started here, first home game was a win, and jeez do I feel old!!! Got home from the game, put the kids to bed and logged in. Ended up grouping with guildies in Skyfire. I used to hate that zone, but with a good group it can be a blast. I managed to ding 53 and got a nice +hp aug.

Sat: Logged in late and started up a group to head back to Skyfire. Took awhile, but finally got a solid group going, but I only managed to get myself halfway to 54(I REEEEAAAALLLLLLY want to get to 55*sigh* For me with my limited play time this is a big deal*shrug* I know its nothing to many people).

Sun: To much RL for EQ

I finally managed to get back into the game! Spent most of the weekend getting re-aquainted and dying repeatedly. Did a bit of minor upgrading last night. Got about 5AAs and spent a bunch that were banked.

I got my druid to level 8 and my necro to level 7 on the Combine. That's about it really. I must admit the orc and puma/lion looks are a lot better looking than I remember.

I logged in on Sunday to play with Jonwin in Skyfire. Lots of kills thanks to guild mate Fortis who was fighting mostly greens to help us try and get spell drops. Only spell was off Guardian worm for 60 wizard. Had another named, the one for the bard epic pulled only to have it ganked from us. A high level mage had his bard in the zone, just waded in and was able to outdamage us. Not so much as a Hey can i take out my epic mob?
Finally Fortis had to leave so I ported us to Stonebrunt, closest to pok book that I found quickly <grin>. Jonwin and I then spent about ninty minuites raising our language skills so he could start using his tainted heartstone. He said I couldnt have it as I didnt play enough and I do have the charm for DON cultural armor.

Early Friday am flew into Washington DC, went to see my grandson for the first time, got lots of photo's for the picture wall at home.. think I'm going to need another wall to hang them all on.
Saturday took more pictures of the baby and the kids, went out for lunch then more photos.. make that 2 walls to hang them all on.
Sunday took a last few photos and flew home.. ok 2 1/2 walls maybe 3 by the time I take the screen shots out of the film I took as well.
Logged in to EQ on trader told the guild I was home and went to bed.
Monday logged in to EQ got on my High Elf chanter took me a few minutes to figure out I was now a DE and purple.. thanks Sis lol
