Been away for ages, come back and can't remember how to set one of my chat windows to 'general'. At the moment its set to 'planes' and 'magicians' but I want to get to the general chat channel to help me get into groups.
I've messed about with the filters andchannels but can't see it =(
Can anyone help?

One of the newer features is the auto-join chat channels that will select your class channel and a zone/expansion channel that you are currently in. You can deselect that auto-join option by clicking on the EQ button and browsing through the options menus.
To to make new chat windows, right click on the title bar of your Main Chat window, and you will see options to make a new chat window, rename a window, and from the Filters option, to send your choice of messages to specific windows.

At the chat line, type in "/join general"...if it's too full, it'll tell ya and sometimes put you into a "generalXXX" chat channel where XXX is some number. Type "/leave generalXXX" to leave it and try "/join general" again until enough peeps have left the channel to let you in.
