At level 66 I've noticed a spot or two of rust on my warrior's droga twins. I am interested in some of the EB weapons from the cursed cycle in ssra.

I'm not sure if the cycle as ever been revamped, but if not I'm wondering how much time has affected it. Do you think it could be done by a single group of 65-70's geared from MMs, DoN merchants, and Tier 1 planes?

that seems feasible but when the 18k deathtouch comes rolling around, you're going to need a backup tank until you can get rezzed again and on your feet to take aggro once more. other than that i don't see why not

I think if we don't complete the cycle then future raiding parties get re-spawned versions that don't drop anything. So it seems the decent thing to do is make sure we had enough to eat the DT and win.

Also I think I had my facts wrong - I was thinking both Bloodfrenzy and Hategiver dropped there, but the Hategiver drops from the Creator.

Still, it would be fun to do the cycle once or twice.

bloodfrenzy is a lot better than hategiver, anyhow.

But both are alot better than the droga twins. Creator I would guess is doable by a reasonaly geared group, as you have specified above, would say would need a few more for cursed cycle, for the DT and the charm. The charm resists could be an issue at you lvl of gear, especially as they will be fairly long fights for 1 grp, they have lots of HP.

Creator is easily Groupable(I'd take along a shaman and a bard just to make it easy)

Cursed Cycle can be grouped as well

Exiled has 300kish HP(from what I hear...i never really worked it out =p)he is the DTer.....300K HP isn't all that much for a group....
2 minute recast time on the DT....

about a 5 minute fight if your group can pull 1k DPS...shouldn't be hard(Pally, Cleric, Wizard, Necro, Bard, Shaman)

Might consider pet tanking GCS.....it shouldn't be too hard

Pally Tanks DAed on Exiled......DI the pally....Cleric Heals and buffs pally(erm duh) Wizzy and Necro DPS the hell out of exiled(300k is nothing...this is where the wizzy should burn everything....cursed can be done by the necro alone...here is where the DPS is needed), bard pulls and sings slows hastes.....etc....shaman slows hastes heals and tanks when and if the pally and necro pet fall) Necro your main roll is as it should be DPS.....you should dot the hell out of it and HT it to hell and back....keep your warrior pet on it incase pally falls....and you can wipe save if need be.....and you can also pump the cleric and wizzy during down time(I know how much you love pumping us =p).

Pot on down time try and get to full Mana(erm duh =p) for the wizzy cleric and shaman(necro should be full =p)

Wizzy a side note I would suggest Chaos flame until you get to exiled....then EF him(start after the first DT.....)...and dont stop till you're Oom(hell tank if you must.....with EF you should be able to cast 15 EF before he reDTs....that should be enough to run you Oom with EF =p.....pop your time shields....and let the shamans heal you.........)
after exiled you should load chaos flame and EF(load them in the middle gem slots) and then some crap...........

I'm pretty sure this will work..........though I haven't done this cycle in a long *** time..........and really long *** time....and im getting this sneaking feeling(just in the back of my mind) that fire doesn't do well on cursed cycle.....in which case use Ice long term nukes and magic short term nukes(which is a duh =p)........though at lvl 70 you should be able to land fire nukes........

You will want a lot of dps on the cursed cycle or find a cleric who can rez and buff faster than the DT occurs.

A strategy for one mob that charms a lot: put only the tanks at the mob and have healer stand behind wall in healing range. the rest of the dps stands outside the charm range and use ranged weapon or spells.

It can probably be one grouped but very hard since Luclin mobs have insane HP and AC.

The charm is easy to resist
