Well, I'm returning to EverQuest after a 3 year hiatus or so. Be on and off, but took a long break after LDoN. Well, lemme cut to the chase.

Depths of Darkhollow looks interesting, with the spirit shrouds and monster missions and whatnot. Is it worth the $19.99?

$19.99?

you can download it off EQlive for $10, or buy the latest set with all expansions bar Prophesy of Ro for $19.99.

in answer to your quaetion, it's ok but Omens of war and Dragons of Norath would be better if you where only looking at 1 expansion.

Ahh. I see. Well, I have all expansions up to LDoN. And I'm not sure if I'm exactly gonna make a full dedication to EQ to get the worth out of the expansions, but I'll dwell on the thought.

Chances are, I might not get them anytime soon since my hard drive on my current PC only has about 200MB free space left. I need to get my better computer fixed so I can get into a more "gaming" shape.

Well, thanks for the info. Any more wouldn't hurt =)

Can't really say, alot of it depends on the level of your charactor. I can say hands down if you plan to play it any amount of time you should just buy Everquest Titanium which will give you every expansion except POR. IT is only $20 and it also includes all the in-game items from all the expansions.

IF your toon is lvl 60+ you might find yourself limited to hunting grounds without OOW or DON. Wall of Slaughter is a pretty popular pickup group zone, as are the Dragons of Norrath Missions. However if your a lower lvl charactor Id just play for a month and see if you will stick with it. IF you do plan to stick with it Id go with the Titanium.

Far as DODH goes the shrouds are not all that useful. They are very weak for there level and can't really be used well as a substitute. As far as the actual zones go they are usually not real popular. I see some lvl 70's doing the spell mission quests and that is usualyl about it. The Monster Missions can be fun, however most people are doing the POR monster missions now as they generally give better exp/loot and also are easier.

I would say that if you wanted to get Darkhollow, they have it at Best Buy for $9.99, or you could see how may exspantions you need to get caught up on and get the newest version of the whole game for $19.99
