Took my baby Necro, Dertnap, on a run yesterday through the frozen wastes of Everfrost. Decided to re-live my early eq days of running around outside of the Ice Giant fort killing the orcs, spiders, and lions that patrol the area. At level 10 I am able to accomplish it fairly easy and its a change of scenery from the pit of hell that is called BlackBurrow.

A kind, UBER enchanter cast Clarity on me and I was a mana fiend!!! MUhahaha! Life was going very well until I backed up to close to a wall with an Ice Giant behind it. WHAM! You have been hit for 129 points. Loading, Please wait....

Come on!!! Cant's SOE fix a simple problem of mobs attacking through walls??? Afterall, it's only been 7 years or so.... Luckily I had bound my soul at an old LDON camp that mysteriously exists so my corpse run won't be too long tonight...

On another note, The Pit of Hell known as Blackburrow was a busy Train Station last night. After taking a few tough deaths from some reverse trains I decided that I was done with BlackBurrow. It is very amusing, however, to see a line of 25 gnolls slowly marching back into their hole. It's inevitable that some newbie will come sotrming down the tunnel, make it to the bridge, aggro one of them, only to have the remaining 24 come after him. He/she usually surivives for about 4 seconds. Then you just rinse/repeat.

Fun night last night!

Ice giants are stong enough to take a brick out of the wall, hit you and put the brick back. The game is functioning as intended.

I beg to differ Jonwin!

If said Ice Giant removed a brink from the wall then how the heck do they fit their huge Fine Steel weapons through it. If you look closely the bricks are very small. The weapons on the ice giant are at least 8ft in scale!!! Do they cast shrink? I think not!

I have read on other boards where there are rumors in the new progression server that there is an epic, invisble Ice Giant roaming Everfrost on certains days and times. Guess I just got ganked by him....

P.S. I am bored at work.

Yes, they DO stink. Is it their breath? Or body odor?

It was no epic invisible Ice giant. It was the roomates cousins boyfriend.
He had just come back from shaving and hadnt wiped the foam from the rest of his face and chest.

As far as the ice giants weapons, they are magic and will fit through any hole the giant can put his hand through. When you kill the Ice giant their weapons shrink and lose their magic.
