Good morning everyone, had a wonderful week(end)!

Tue: yes, a bit early for weekend, but: I got the Copper Medal of War for my Bestlord's Epic 1.0! Smiley: yippee Just wanted to find Scout Husman's spawn point, when suddenly a party invited me to go for the medal. First part completed! Smiley: grin

Thu: (nearly weekend) Weekly meeting with friends, we went to Skyfire Mountains this time. Lots of wurms and pretty nice exp. Although we didn't go for them, all four Pearlescent Fragments for our Cleric's Epic 1.0 dropped within an hour!!! Smiley: jawdrop When my friends had to leave, I went to TofS and finally got the Large Undead Gnoll to spawn who dropped the key for level 2. Was too tired to continue, so I went to bed.

Fri: Some brewing and smithing, minor skill-ups.

Sat & Sun: No EQ, but culture and meeting friends.

I really enjoy playing at the moment, but I think I should step back a bit... addiction is waiting next door!

Played way too much again this weekend, and leveled from 27 to almost 32 with bard on progression.

Sat: Killed gobbies in HHK after spending the afternoon in SolA. SolA was a good time, but kind of overcamped and rather slow going. I did get the fiery vambraces for my bard lambent sleaves quest, but still needed two sapphires which run about 106pp from a vendor. HHK to wrap up the night was excellent experience but boring, just boring. I left and loggeed off earlier than I'd planned, after dying in Kithicor on my way back to the tunnel.

Sun: Had a great group in CT in the morning, got a lizard-scale cloak and enough vendor drops to buy my sapphires. Blue sleaves, woot. Also got a rune of mudwater, or some such rune, for my lambent helm. Still needed two star rubies at about 65pp a pop. Went back to CT in the evening, but with not as great a group. Again, took off earlier than I'd expected but still got enough fine-steel stuff to buy one of my star rubies.

So tonight, I'll be doing something to raise enough dough to pick up a second star ruby, and my blue hat.

Grinding on sleeper, hopelessly behind as expected but a different challenge.

Fri: Grind xp to get chanter to 17 so she can get Illusion Ogre; Illusion Dark Elf not good enough faction for Stien of Mogguk quest. Made chanter more challenging by picking a deity and the chickens are home to roost. Grinding in Highpass on gnolls, picked up many peices of chain armor...hhmm...what do do with that later...

Sat: Got Ogre illusion, unfortunatley you can no longer use Alliance on GM or Merchant NPCs so I have to do tons more faction work in Oggok to have Clurg give me his quest. Kill armadillos and later, do Lizard Tail quest in Warriors guild. Finally able to do Lizard Meat quest. Started Barb Shaman to use all the Chain gear I had collected. Barb Shammy starting with mostly chain, a few rawhide peices (back, shoulders, gloves) bear-hide boots and some chanter made jewelry. Amazing what just AC gets you fighting gnolls in BB.

Sun: Finally got faction high enough for Clurg to talk to me (need high indifferent, very high indifferent), got stien. Worked Shammy to level 5.
Also Regular Server xp trip with guild in Burned Woods (off Iceclad this week).

Ok, I'll jump in on one of these.

Fri: Soloed a bit with my main(48 Ranger) in Jaggedpine. Wasn't much going on within guild so I logged in my baby BST and got him to 9 in Gloomingdeep.

Sat: Logged in and started soloing the ranger. Got an invite from guildies to join a MM(I've never done one), ran all the way to Thurgadin to find out it was from PoR(the 1 expansion I don't have). *sigh* Was able to get a friendly druid to port me out and ended up joining a PuG in KC. I dinged 49 and got a swarmcaller out of the trip, but spent the whole time in there just waiting for a wipe...I think I was the only one in the group older than 16.*grin*

Sun: Only logged in for a half hour or so in the morning, got buffed in PoK and ran to Jaggedpine, soloed maybe 6 griffins and logged out.

Frak you were on thursday, that counts a bit.

My weekend.
Thursday - Was one of about 13 people laid off from Historical Society. It was a bit of a shock but not a total suprise, the money situation had been bad for years. It looks like they will try to staff the CW museum with part timers.
Logged on the rogue in the evening and killed at the crazed goblin camp in BB.Ding 32. I Also ran around killing the bandits to help my rogue faction in kaladim. Tried the suggested idea of putting in a nosound.txt command, it seemed to work for the day, but not over the rest of the week.

Friday - More time with rogue. Then Logged on Jonwinnie the shamaness, ran to druga
to kill goblins for blood needed in alchemy. Score was Shaman 5 goblins 1. After rezzing I simply sat in guild hall casting divination and abjuration spells to raise my casting skill. ( I had them about 125 and 136, but was getting a lot of fizzles on the ac buffs a shaman has. Now its up to 135 and 160 respectively. )

Saturday. Took the shaman to Nurga with two guildies, zerker and bard. It was almost non stop killing, (even without kei!) It was fun but no blood drops. We did kill one of the named however and I picked up a nice piercing weapon!
Spent some money on the rogue, finally buying him an haste item, (SCHW) when I saw them for sale at 1100p, and an chest armor.
Spent a few minuites on alchemy as well.

Sunday - Logged on shaman decided to start epic work. Went to oot killed a few seafury cyclops, and the pirat captain. Now on to freeport, to find the barb shaman. Guild group formed and I talked them into going to Burning woods (as dot said its off Iceclad this week) killed lots of giant ancients, a few skeletons, and not one spell drop!. On the way thru skyfire we did kill the wyvern, and dots rogue took the ring drop.
Visited Grobb for the first time in a while, trained 20 points in special abjurartion, evoke, divination and languages.
Raised alchemy by 4 points! doing ursine potions for the rogue.

Edit
Just came back from interview with another historical attraction in town. Will be going to work for them, it will be 40 hours but no benefits. At least its a start.

Well unfortunately no EQ this weekend. My spare machine....5 yrs old, bit the dust and I need that machine for my roommates, so I spent parts of the weekend working on that. Also, I am coding a business website in my spare time, so that also took a chunk out of my weekend.

In the end Best Buy had a really good sale price on a decent enough system, so I plunked down 400$ and now have 3 machines(2 desktops and 1 laptop) all less than a year old and comparable to each other. Each of support I guess.

I really wanted to get to 56 on my SK and 45+ on the cleric but well RL intervenes sometimes anyway.

Thurs-Fri Went to the beach with my friend. Had an awesome time, but no EQ

Sat: Played a newbie Halfling Paladin on progression, but was longing to get back to my main since I hadn't played him since mid May.

Sun: Played my main, a 21 Shadowknight. Dinged 22 in Netherbian Lair.

Mon: Grouped in Echo Caverns and started the grind to 23

Friday: Took advantage of my newly gained Qvic access and hunted a few goats. Guild also got kills of the Zoo and Cynosure, and I got my Qvic BiC piece!

Saturday: 12 hours of EQ, all in Qvic. Lots of xp and really fixed up the issues with my Nihist faction. My dice, however, were horrible and I didnt win a single piece of armor. =/

Sunday: More goats, more lousy dice. Finally got a drop when the guild felt sorry for me having spend most of 2 days in there and not won anything. They let me get th helm drop. YAY!

Still no EQ, still no job or money.

However, I did spend Saturday night at a friend's shooting pool (raining too much for the scheduled bonfire cookout) then went to a Mets game Sunday.

The desire for Everquest is killing me!!

Starting to sound like a broken record - not enough EQ this weekend.

FRI - Took the day off of work in an attempt to complete our yurt for war, but the skies opened up and we spent the time doing the little stuff, then sitting on the porch drinking and cursing Thor! About sunset it finally let up, and a frantic hour dragging a 25" square tarp on the frame, then hanging on the ladder while we applied the waterproofing. Finally packed up around 9:30, and I had pretty much lost all feelings in my fingers.

Sat - Worked on camp tables with the rest of my household until afternoon. Came home and put both my daughter and newly pregnant wife to bed about 8:30, and finally logged on to 2 box the Cleric/Mage in Natimbi. Finally got the fourth drop and completed the quest to get Kiki's Recipe Book. Not really an uber item, but something I've been hoping for.

Sun - Your basic homeowner chores, and during the off time I tried to find a new place to hunt with the duo. Tried Fungus Grove, but can't get the stupid shrooms to come out singly, so gated like a scared little kitten. Tried the deep and while I could get singles, they tore through the pet fast and seemed like too much of a pain. Might give it a try again though, since I'm kinda sick of Natimbi.
