I have been working on my young SK level 40. I’d like to get him up a few levels over the weekend and work on his 2h piercing. This has been a slow and traduces process to say the least. I almost wonder if it’s worth it.? I also have a new due I have been working on Mage and Shaman. They have been a hoot to play so fare. In the long run they should complete one another well.
All in all some alt work.

Well, for starters Piercing is only one skill - there is no difference between 1H and 2H Piercing. So keep using that Fine Steel Dagger till the skill is maxed out, then you can switch to a lance.

Yes when working on skill ups for weapon cheap and low delay.
Then you go for the good stuff!
As for my weekend... Should be working on my cleric and SK Duo and working on picking off midlevel names for low end bazaar sales. Plus trying to get the cleric caught up to the SK in levels and also get 56 on SK plus any more AAs I can get.

Find a friendly mage. When you're both done playing for the night, have him put his pet on hold in a corner somewhere. Duel him. Attack pet with piercing weapons. Go to sleep. Wake up with maxed piercing skills.
