Questions about expanions after LDoNFollow

#1 Jul 19 2006 at 6:01 PM Rating: Decent
ok so Ive been back for about 2 months and I have reached level 50. I know about PoP progression and LDoN. And thats were my knowledge stops lol. Was crazy to see that I know get spells every level. Loved it because it used to suck for hybrids. But thats neither here no there.

So what do I really need to know thats newer? any info is helpful

For instance,
What is a Dain MM ?!
What does it mean when people LFG as a "emmoed" charactor?
Is PoP pregression something I sould even worry about or should I work on other flags or progression?

MM==Monster Mission

The first ones were introduced with Depths of Darkhollow expansion. See the master list which is stickied to the top of this forum. Dain MM is one (a series of three actually) that start in Icewell Keep.

Since LdoN there have been several expansions.

Gates of Discord
Omens of War
Dragons of Norrath
Depths of Darkhollow
Prophecy of Ro

Each has their own end-game flagging progression thing-a-majig in addition to regular exploring and mob killing. Mainly for characters > level 65.

Wow, where to begin... well first, good job on getting to 50 after being away. Things have really changed and probably the best thing would be to search the forum posts for the keywords which you have asked about, and follow the threads. IMHO, the biggest thing you will have to adjust to are the MM's (Monster Missions) and the other instanced zones. Check out the sticky on the main forum and that should explain most of your questions about them. You might also want to check the Sony site to get an idea of the features for all of the expansions which have come out since LDoN. Post-50, you will probably have to get Guilded (if you haven't already), and that will also speed up the learning curve. We are helping out two returning guildies, and playing is the best way of learning.
