I like that there will be content for every level. I still havent bought the last expansion yet because there wasnt really alot of stuff I could do in it at level 45. Now that I am 53 I may buy both.

nah im gonna get it beceause of all the solo content and reduced downtime. Ne1 no what the new race looks like? I mean a pic or something all I no is its a dragon human hybrid.

There has been nothing said about solo content and slower downtime being part of this expansion. That was something I was asking about in the previous thread.

The new race has my interest although I doubt I will ever play any of them serious (IE past lvl 15 to 20ish, but who knows). The content for ALL levels does interest me though. I just hope its not like say OOW where the mobs are a pain to kill because of insane procs, insane resists, insane hitpoints, insane AC, etc etc. I have a easier time soloing the red boss mobs in Skyfire then I do killing a darkblue in Draniks Scar. Don't need more mobs with 500+hp procs on them.

My accounts have been dormant since 2/1/06.

If I was playing, I would buy it day one for the content.

I would ***** about the levels.. but I would do it. The new race.. meh.. I don't think I have a new EQ character from level 1 in me anymore.

So I voted content. But I ain't coming back.

Dam thats what they look like? Doubt ill play as one of them then...was hoping for more humanoid dragon like people than humans with horns. besides isnt that all ready a race in swg?

Umm... that's not exactly what I think of when I think of half dragons. I was kind of hoping for something akin to the dragorn.

I remain excited. Beastie races are boring and I'd much rather have a more humanistic approach to a dragon/human hybrid. I mean, knowing the dragon's pride and use of magic, they wouldn't simply mishmash the characteristics the way the Sebilisian empire did and create unstable monstrocities. It does seem much more likely that they would be merely combining humans with a draconic essence, imbuing them with the wisdom and grace of the elder dragons which did said imbuing; that's just my take on it. As long as they're not just human models with different faces (i.e. they have different looking armor, posture, stance, voice, dialect, etc.) then I'm happy.

Everyone has their own opinion.Here's mine:If I wanted to be a human(or something very close to it(Elves,Gnomes ect) I would stay in the real world.The Iksar,Frogloks,Ogres,Trolls and Vah'shir make the game much more interesting and less plain.(I know,I know Dragons and Muramites and such but I mean as far as seeing PCs running around) so Im hoping that by Half Dragon/Half human they atleast get a tail and scales,maybe some small wings.(I would even say mostly like a dragorn type model.)

So, hey, does anyone remember after PoR was released that SOE specifically said that they were going to wait a bit on before releasing the next expansion, so they could develop it further? Furthermore, does anyone believe that it was a coincedence that they announced the release of the new expansion just a couple of weeks after PoR was beaten?

Despite all of this, I would probably buy the new expansion, except for the fat that it's going to be digital download only, which means that since I don't have a credit card, I won't be able to buy it.
