Morning Everyone and hopefully the hangover is not as bad as mine. I did make it to work on time but am sucking down coffee like theres no tomorrow.

Corrected the DL9 graphics hitch and re-activated my account for the only purpose of starting over on the Progression server.

Created my Necromancer and named him Dertnap! Started in Qeynos and am having a ball. Got him to level 4 and 3/4's before logging for the night. Not a tremendous level gain but exp is very slow and normally my toon's have about 600hp and tons of mana at level 1. Not used to starting out with 20 hp and 30 mana!

Some observations:

1.) Despite 100 "newbies" running around the yard there were very few problems. However every once and awhile there was a 13 year old getting into a shouting match with someone else over extremely stupid stuff. Guess that can be expected.

2.) A level 4 necromancer cannot handle a red mob even with his level 4 pet! Yellows are tough and success rate is 50/50.

3.) Experience is slow. This is good. I am enjoying the view and the company.

4.) It's great fun to see people selling silk and banded armor for a few plat per AC. Also Sow and armor with + attributes. Someone was selling a Spiked Collar for 10 plat. That particular item has +2 strength. Good times!!

5.) Tonight will be a blackburrow night. I ventured into BB yesterday and there were about 120 corpses at the entrance! Most of the stuff was heavily camped so I will try it today.

How was everyone's Holiday?

Kinda sucked here. Had big plans to take my friends boat up the river and camp out on a island drinking beer and setting off fire works. Well a huge storm rolled in and didn't let up till well past night so we had to abort.

Also my garden was pretty much trashed from the high winds of the storm. about 80% of my corn was knocked over and my vineing plants are all tangled up looking.

I spent the day giving tours on the Double Decker bus here in town. Thought that tips would be good on a holiday and it was not bad at all.
Very hot day however, the 12 Noon tour left me very wiped due to the heat.
The final tour of the day was fun as we had 12 young students from Kazikstan (Sp?) on board. They all understood english and are here for about a month to study how we in the USA collect and use taxes.
Unfortuneatly being students they didnt tip at all, but the girls were definately great eye candy!

To tired to do much in EQ I actually logged onto my emarr toons which I hadnt played in a long time. Had a two friends say hello while I puttered around abit before going into trader mode.

Progressing in fits and starts. Was in a strange group working trainer hill in CB. 3 paladins, a bard and two rogues. One pally (the leader) was overly concerned with loot and would auction stuff as soon as he looted it. He was more-or-less forced to roll on rawhide and shield drops and never could get a good roll. One of the pallys was boxing a (lower level) character out of group, pulling stuff to the hill. The pally's could not re-gain aggro too well, even from one rogue who did not even have backstab yet. When they did finally get aggro they seemed blissfully unaware of a rogue (with backstab) trying to get behind the mob. Highlight of the night was a level 9 warrior who was spamming /ooc he was lfg and was using a Lansex (or whatever) had crafted gloves and the rest banded. He climbs up the hill looking for a heal while we are in battle. Nevermind we do not have a cleric. Loot-hog pally says for 5pp he can get healed. I was rofl.

Dinged 11 on rogue. I have 20pp in coin and 5 pieces of banded, an SBS, and a Dagger of Dropping. Most of my gear bought from mail-runs and buying/selling Purity Belts. The ship is sailing on that enterprise though as people are getting more levels. Got a few items from the gnolls already hehe.

Necro dinged level 5 last night after running around Qeynos Hills looking for stuff to kill. The difference in exp between a "white" con mob and a "blue" con mob is amazing. Factor in a "yellow" mob when I feel lucky and the exp does move along nicely.

Going to try the entrance to Blackburrow tonight if I have time. I forgot about the gnoll fang turn in so hopefully I can get a stack of them started and get some exp on the turn in.
