well, if someone sent me this .dll think it would work? maybe reinstalling is the way to go?

You can go to your everquest files using the Explore method,,(right click the start button on desktop) locate the Directx test file and run it..just follow the directions. hope this helps

You have to doanload & install the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft.

and not via the windowsupdate, it has to be the distribution vs of DX9c or it will not install the dll you are missing.
