Based on the new update note, we have looked on our home cities for the new Augs.
No one in my guild has been able to find the new Augs available from
Gemcrafters.
Which leads to the question.. I do not recall ever seeing a Gemcrafter before. I assumed that they meant a Jewelcrafter, but assumptions are usually the base problem.
Do these Augs Exist? What are Gemcrafters? Is the human home city really Freeport or Quenyos?
Has anyone seen these new items?

Greater faydark has only Melee augments from a gemcrafter by the main lift. I did a find and he is on there, but only him. So I don't know if there are any new augs out there for non melee classes. Also the augs go up to 50th lvl and are for your weapons only.
They exist, go to your hometown and bring up the find window then read it, it's something to do with augs or weapon augs. Even for lvl 50s, there's nothing really of interest IMO.
So what exactly kind of Augs are these, what kind of prices etc?

You can find the AUg Dudes In your main city by using the Find feature. I have seen Heal augs, HOT augs, Dot augs, And DD Augs. The highest avaialable augs cost around 600p maybe a little more. They are type 4 Augs, and they only fit into Primary and secondary aug slots. I found easily in Shar Vahl.
The augs are basically less powerful than those found on the DoN merchants. They scale from level 10 to level 50 req. Nice thing about them is at lvl 50 they have choice of 60 hp heal proc or 100 hp total HoT proc. in addition to a similiar hp DD and DoT choice.
Four types of augs found for/on melee merchant. On find in halas it was listed under Melee Augments. My 28 rogue bought for just under 126 p the augs with a level 30 required use. Augs are No Trade.
Augs are a Direct heal, A Hot, a DD and a Dot. Endurances of the HOT and DOT are iirc 24 seconds. Not a big damage but every little bit helps. I myself took the dot and the hot. Going to put the dot on my piercer and the hot on my Wazikashi of the Frozen Skies.( Which I normally have in my secondary slot.)

No love for caster types then.
they should add Caster ones with:-
Improved Damage I -> IV
Improved Healing I -> IV
Extended duration for buffs I -> IV
Mana Preservation I -> IV
Primary + Secondary aug slot 4.

My son has a 51 warrior, I told him he should take the Hot aug (about 100hps total healed) and the Heal aug (60 hp heal) for his warrior. I figure they will generate just as much if not more aggro than the damage type aug, and if they proc once a fight that would be the same as having 160 hps more, which is far more important than doing 160 hps more damage in a fight for the tank. What do you think?
well as far as warrior's go i'd say the high damage augs in nukes, cause really aggro in the lower levels is based off of who does the most damage in the group so you want the warrior to dish out as much as possible (this is also true in the later levels but aggro is based differently by how much hate you create on the mob and by then you should have some hate augs to seriously help you.)
personally i mixed them i have enraging blow X2 and cs4 X2.

Sounds like they are kinda cheap.
I like the idea though.
If they were more powerful and cost a grip of plat, it would be a good platsink for the player economy and help adjust things kinda like mounts did.
