I am wondering what the actual diffrence in regen for the 2 regening races is to normal races. I have seen so many diffrent answers can anyone tell me the diffrent regens for the races just need to know standing regen. like how much does say a level 20 iksar regen standing and a level 20 human standing or level 60 etc

cant tell ya higher then 50s, but sub 50 it is 2 - 1.

normal race = 1hp/tic standing 2hp/tic sitting.
troll/iksar = 2hp/tic standing 4hp/tic sitting.

after 50s it really starts to get crazy as the iksar/troll get way bigger in their hp regen per tic.

I believe you're mistaken Arkazer. The only thing they've changed about regen is made the amount healed per tick go up the longer you sit. I don't believe anybody has bothered to create a formula for what it is now though. This only affects sitting, not standing regen. The moment you stand, any accumulated regen is lost.

Confusing at best...

The moment you stand, you don't lose any accumulated regen...but you will only regen at the rate of your worn regen, plus whatever regen spells you have cast on you from that point on, until you sit again.

The Accumulated Regen Brudish is talking about is the bonuses SOE added 2 years ago or so. I am guessing at formula but sit down you regen at say 10hp per tick after 5 ticks its 20 per after another 5 ticks its 40 ect. Stand up and it starts over again. When SOE added this it made the 20% exp pentalty extremly unfair for Trolls and Iksars.

Usually is somewhat. So let's try this.

With no gear on and no buffs!!! You are not at full health! So.. You Sit!

Regen begins to add health at the sitting rate. The longer you stay continuously sitting there are times where the regen rate increases to a higher rate. If you stand you return to standing regen, then if you sit back down it is at the original rate of sitting regen.

In the past the regen rate was constant, but a change was made to allow for faster recovery when sitting for an extended period due to the higher number of hp folks were achieving and therefore allow for some more effective soloing/ small groups.

Note: this has nothing to do with gear or buffs, worn limits, spell caps. Just pure base regen!

Just checked also posted a complaint is Sonys fourm 69 Dark Elf standing is getting 20hp per tick with no gear or AAs. Level 69 Iksar is getting 23hp per tick with 3 from AAs and no gear.

Related to this is the insane experiance penalty that SOE puts on Iksar and Trolls. What ever the regen rate it does not justify the 20% penalty. I dumped my Troll zerker at level 40 when added it up and saw he would be at like level 48 if he were not a troll. The get better starting stats also but that is quickly taken care of by equipment in todays game.

that looks like the old scale i was remembering when i posted above. as far as i know even with the adjustment for the amount of time sitting, the points you listed are rather stable still.

Yes that is the base only. The starting point if you will.

I have nto found anywhere that list the increased rate after you have sat for a while.
