Morning everyone!

Had a wonderful weekend, although I didn't play EQ. The travels continue...

Thu: My girlfriend and me took a flight to London and then drove to Bournemouth to visit a good friend of mine. Had fish & chips at the beach and watched England vs. Trinidad in a pub in the evening.

Fri: Got up at 3.30am and drove to Stonehenge. Watched the sunrise from the inner circle. Great view and great feeling. Visited Avebury and the Roman spa at Bath afterwards.

Sat: We took the ferry to Isle of Wight and had a great walk at the shore. BBQ at the beach of Bournemouth in the evening.

Sun: Visiting the Cathedral of Salisbury and the medieval town itself. We took the flight back to Bratislava/Vienna in the evening, watching Brazil vs. Australia at Stansted Airport.

Much more EQ on next week's weekend update, as this week I'm going to play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings... Going to Paris for business, and there's WLAN at the hotel! Smiley: grin

didn't play EQ either, but a few hours "Spellforce" instead. also, I was able to fix my second puter - didn't run after tuesdays patch (firewall issues in the end... doh...).

with the nice weather and barbecue and playing table tennis and cycling etc. it was a fab weekend though. oh yeah, and when I saw the news about the soccer game (US playing Italy) I just thought "bloody 'ell"...

Good day all,

This weekend being fathers day, I had planned on a Saturday work day, and then a full day Sunday of on-line bliss. Of course, the tried and true adage of "no battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy" was still quite accurate. While Saturday was a work weekend as planned with my family and I helping our our reenactor friends (kinda, we're SCA) get wood working projects completed, Sunday ended up being far more active. We had intended on visiting our cabin in the mountains for a quite rest and swim, but within two hours of our arrival, we had over 30 friends and family. While the impromptu cook out was fun, I honestly would have rather been online (you can chose your friends, but not your relatives). Such is life... I'll try and get my Mage/Cleric duo to ding 56 and 53 respectively this week, mainly because I'm itching to get the Muzzle of Mardu for my pet. CotH is sweet, and things are only getting better!

Had to re-install all my files so most of the weekend spent getting some of my characters back to where they were in terms of hot-keys and macros etc.

Dinged a few minor alts in the new hot zones.

Succesful MB raid and 2 Minis in tower of Sol Ro. Wiped on Grummus twice (4-group raid, had him to 1% the second time). Grummus 3, Dots 2...

So tell me why does Alaama fail the surname name filter and I see an Ogre running around sporting the moniker 'Bigbuttoo'?

WooHoo !! I finally dinged 60 with my Necro. She is a killing machine now with Funeral Pyre of Kelador. I learned to just throw on enough DOT's to kill the mob and still have almost the same amount of mana after it goes down. Arch Lich
is bloody wonderful !! And I love looking like a Spectre as well. Already 2 oranges on my way to 61 !!!!

Friday: Spent most of the afternoon grinding away in PC with my baby shammy (Tired of buying potions so i figured i woud make an alchemist so i can make what i want when i need it.) waited patiently for the local goon squad to decend and cause a rucus.

Was pleasently surprised to find everyone was very nice and social, with no campstealing, training or other nonsence Smiley: yikes

Saturday:- Spring cleaning and other "mother visiting next week" related things, then settled down to watch England cruise into the next round of the world cup (Cruised did i say? where did i put those specticals?Smiley: glasses) and then another foray into PC with no dramas

Sunday:- chilled out on WoW/Rome Total war and bloodbowl while intermittently watching football, cooking and laughing at the French as they blew what should have been an easy victory Smiley: lol. Finished by watching Ultimate fighter 3, (Anyone know what the theme tune to that series is? it rocks!)

Monday work Smiley: oyvey

Wild Bday, new computer that doesn't work. The computer took 80% of my weekend and probably has a bad power supply since it likes to reboot itself. It also shipped with drivers that will cause the OS to lock right after bootup. First time I've gotten a bad product from tigerdirect. No EQ for me this weekend.

Friday - logged on for a bit late night, got aggrivated cause chat channel wasn't working (and a lot of alcohol, lol) and just logged and crashed out for the night

Saturday - Logged on when I woke up around noon and everything was working fine. Ran around with my main with the guildies for awhile as usual and had yet another great time :-)
Got in a pickup raid that evening and took out AD in PoV. Fun time and cool looking dragon. After we won that, did the PoJ execution trial with the guild. Had a blast yet again. Liking this progression stuff :-)

Sunday - Hung out with my gf, threw some steaks on the grill and layed around and watched TV...great lazy day before back to the foundry.

I did that as well, though I doubt very much you were there, watching the same TV as I was :P

I had comp issues with directx as did a few others. With me it was not making sure the program was installed after downloading. (Duh!)
Finally logged on Saturday morning, and went into trader mode.
Too tired to play until Sunday eve. Then Elne and I went to South Ro for some sg killing. They are now LB to me but still good exp for Elne at 45.
One thing, when I tried to hail Tacoits, the npc task giver, it said I did not have the expansion for the task. Probably a bug, since I have all expansions but Ro.
