I just bought EQ titanium and was wondering what the drop rates are in DS and other OOW and GOD zones are for augs, for now i am just wondering about DS tho.
Thanks everybody, and if this is a well known thing about which mobs drop and how often, feel free to criticize.

The random aug drops off of trash mobs (ie. boneflow stones, waterflow stones, etc.) are pretty rare. I would venture a guess of less than 5% chance of dropping. Over the course of killing hundreds and hundreds (probably thousands) of mobs for factioning a number of toons, I've come across around 20-30 augs.
That rate is not too bad if you're a high level and you can kill pretty quickly.
The hp type augs that drop off of random mobs are probably the rarest ones in the zone. I've only seen 2 or 3 drop in all my time in DS.

The aug drops in dranik can swing all over the board. I went with a shammy friend and we killed at top end of zone to the side of bloodfields zone in one night got 7 flow augs in about 2 hours but then went 2 weeks didnt see another.
Just kill everything you will need the faction anyway for armour quest...you'll see the augs drop flow stones more than any other. Got 3 to drop just last week in caves off the rats =) Good luck !
