Cant start gameFollow

Hey Ive been playing this game with no problems at all until one day I went to start the game and once the patch install in the beginning is complete and I hit play it says "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem." So I reinstalled and it still says this. Any help would be appreciated...thanks.
