Morning everyone!

It's Tuesday, and here in Austria we had a very long weekend (Monday was holiday). Here's my weekend update:

Thu: Went to Paris with my girlfriend. Smiley: grin

Fri: Vitsit of Notre Dame, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. And: I was chosen Player of the Week! Smiley: king

Sat: Visit of Château Versailles and very nice dinner with friends.

Sun: Visit of the Louvre and of Quartier Latin.

Mon: Quartier Latin again, returning to Austria in the afternoon.

No EQ for me this weekend, clean now for 3 weeks... Gonna play on Thursday, hopefully!

Well after a frustrating weekend and an attempt at repair I tried to play some EQ. Could single box but 2-box caused a crash. Seems there is still a problem with the machine.

ARGHHHHH!

Sounds like a great weekend bbot! Mine was not quite as fun.

Saturday - work then out to the drive in with my GF and her kids....still picking candy and popcorn out of the back seat in my jeep!

Sunday - more unpacking from my recent move (I own way too much stuff), still no internet connection :(

Monday - got the internet connection set up and promptly burned out the power supply on my PC....UGH!

I only recall, that finally "a black medaillon" dropped (I even declined to group with guildies as i wanted to finally get this quest dne...). not a common drop for sure... compensation was the worn golden tooth dropping in between though :)

BBot, take yer GF to Dublin the next time. deffo more fun Smiley: grin

It was a long weekend here in Norway, Monday was a holiday. Spent Friday and most of Saturday oiling the patio around the pool. Then in the evening Sat, my wife and i gathered our group of six toons and went to MPG to get some spells, we still lack some 69 and 70 ones. We had no luck that evening, but got a few AA's which is always useful. Sunday was more work, painting and more oiling of the patio. Monday even more work, cleaning and vaxing the car, doing the lawn and some other stuff. No EQ till Tuesday.

Then we went to Riftseekers for the first time to see if we could box there to possibly get the rest of our spells after spending a couple of years trying to get them all :) We moved in carefully, having read some on these boards about the zone, and set camp in the NE stairs in the fire area, Basically just getting to know the mobs strength and weaknesses, the pathing and pulling options. We killed only like 6 mobs per round, 1 static, 2 roamers and the 3 in Ruiner Isakas room, never saw her though in like 7 spawns or so. Was looking to go further east in the same corridor to get to Companion Prefect but the hall was busy with mobs pathing here and there, and i dont think we have the dps to clear everything to get a clean pull.
We did fine with the trashmobs, they hit hard but have few hps and seemed to be easily slowed with the 69 slow for the most part. We will come here again to learn more and hopefully get some nameds/runes.

Ahhh the proverbial fix was to be mine last night. It seems that I had both a bad vid card and some bad ram to complicate the issue of finding a solution. However last night I messed around for a few hours to make sure it was working okay and I was able to two box without a lockup. Just got kicked twice.

Whew! Wipes forehead and the shakes begin to subside!

Only EQ I Played last week was on Thursday eve.
Spent some time in S ro killing and being killed by SG. (One started wandering and triggered 3 more to attack me. Sow dropped and I couldnt heal fast enough.)
Then went with a guild group to CT. Only fought in the entry way and first courtyard, but it was fun. Was given a nice wrist and earring upgrade by a guild member emeritus.
