Tunic GraphicsFollow

my human monk came out of the tutorial wearing a gloomingdale tunic. it was a bare midriff jobbie that showed off her tummy tatoo. i upgraded her to a gnomeskin tunic and the graphics reverted to an old boring ranger look.

anyone know if there is a monk tunic that will give the same bared stomach graphics as the Gloomingdale tunic?

Your ornate and timeless from PoP zones have the strappy look. Other than that no. :( I hate it too.

Your 2 ac newbie tunic has the belly look. ITs the one you get for handing your note to your guildmaster. OF course I doubt thats the one you want heh :p

The newbie quested monk tunic MIGHT have the look your looking for? ITs the one you get from armor quests in POK (and maybe if they are in game still the ones you do through your guildmasters in your hometown).

Wu's Fighting Tunic, along with the rest of the Wu's Fighting armor, has unique monk graphics, aka the straps look you want. This armor should be pretty cheap to get, the majority of it that I have seen has been sold into stores, the chest piece will run you around 65pp, I think, to buy out of a store, check around Tailoring/Brewing areas, I have seen a bunch of Wu's in the various shops in the Neriak Underground in Neriak, you could make a Dark Elf and go check it out. Alternately, you could always find someone who will make it for you. ;)

Crescent Armor, which is No Drop, can be found in Crypt of Dalnir in Warsliks Woods, this is much harder to get since you will need to be in your 30s, or have a high level friend who can protect you and kill the things for you to loot. I got 2 Sarnak Earrings of Station (AC 5 +5 STR 0.0 wt.) when I was there, along with Crescent chest, head, wrist, legs, and feet items, a fighting baton, and lots more.

Black Pantherskin armor is very nice armor, it has 'the look' and is black coloured, of course. The only problem with this is it is very expensive. I have seen a few pieces listed under 1,000pp though, so I suppose if you saved up a few hundred you might get lucky, better to get something else though, as the time spent to make this armor warrants the high cost, so bargains will be rare.

They mentioned Cured Silk armor and your quested armor, both of which should have that look as well. Usually monk only armor will have that appearance for sure. I just did a check in the Bazaar on Fennin Ro, There were two pieces of Wu's for sale, both extremely cheap, gloves at 5pp, mantle at 10pp, so it is probably better to buy them there or commission them than getting from a store. Black Pantherskin is 2500 for tunic and legging, 1500 for every other piece, and someone has sleeves up for 500.

Well, I hope this information helps you somehow, and I apologize if any of it is wrong, since I just started playing again last week after a couple years away. Also, it sounds like you are new to the monk class, remember that you have a weight limit, I think it starts at 14 and eventually reaches um, 18? or so at like level 60, so the lighter your gear the better. Cheers!
