I haven't played in almost a year because my computer wasn't able to handle the game. Now my computer can easily handle it and I want to come bnack.
I have a few qu3estions first though...
1. Is everything equipped to my ranger now dated and obsolete?
My chatacter
2. Are there different places to gain EXP and pp than what there used to be?
3. Is it true that the population has been declining?
4. Is there anything important I should know?

as I do not play a ranger and am in high 60 I am not sure how your equipment is, I do know a lot changed in the last year or so.
maybe have a look at eqplayers and do a search for rangers, your lvl on your server and see what sort of equipment they wear?

Time to start upgrading if you plan on leveling.
LDoN gear is only good to about level 20 now. When you get to 35 you can wear some of the DoN crafted gear (Expert's), it is very good for the level. Check out the bazaar to upgrade your other slots, lots of decent equipment for 30-40s, lots of new stuff is required level 40, but outgrown by level 50 so you could snatch it up rather cheaply.
Getting to 40 is relatively easy now, head to Gunthak and you should be able to get a group. Sure there might be some PL-ers but they might not mind you joining their lower alts.

Equip wise there is much better. Hit the bazaar and see what's there.

Glad you are back on the server. Most of your gear is outdated but not too bad for your level. Gunthak is your best bet on Leveling. Go to the bazaar and get several skinspike VI potions. They give you a 35 point damage sheild that stacks with yours. Also some regeneration potions. will give you a about a 10 point regen. Skinspike last 15 min and regen about half that. With those you can powerlevel yourself while getting your defense up. You can get a level an hour easily at that level. At 35 run to the bazaar and buy up the Expert armor for your race and the augs for it. the Bazaar now has a nice search window /bazaar and you can find a couple of good weapons. I dont play my toons that low much but I will look for you in game and help if I can.
