Ok let me start with my system: Dell 8400 intel series; Pentium 4 processor; Nvidia GeForce 6800 video card; 2.99 GHz; 1.00 GB of ram. So, i currently 2 box using wineq (of the same machine) when i 1st log on both accounts i get a little bit of lag and low system memory message. Once its running for about 10 mins and gives back some memory its runs lag free even during mgb's in pok =). So that leads to me my question: Would i be able to run a 3rd account on the same machine without huge lag or such effects? Anyone who has a similar system and experience i would greatly appriciate any help/advice u can give me. Thanks in advance =)
i use to 3 box with 1 gb ram 2.8 ghz cpu 128mb vid, first thing to do is clip setting half way. in options before you start turn off all but your characters armor graphic setting. make sure graphics set to low also. works great wineq helps the cpu from over heating.
get 1 more gb of ram like i have now and 4 boxing with most armor graphics on and mid graphics setting. window size have a bit of effect too but not much. it's best to keep each window behind eachothr not to make them smaller and side by side as your graphics card memory will have issues.
one last tip download some memory clearer. and run before you start EQ helps me a ton. but don't clear memory after you start EQ it tendes to kill the game

I used to 3 box on 1 PC without EQwindows with a Geforce 6600 and 1gig memory with no lag.
Some other tips:
1. Set character actor distance (forget what it is called exactly) to 0 ONLY on 1 or 2 accounts. This is a huge lag reducer. Do not do it on your tank/puller because it makes NPCs and PCs not appear until you are right next to them.
2. Turn off alll sound on all 3 accounts. Do not just lower the volume, disable sound.
3. Disable emote animations and of course, turn off Luclin Memeory Hog models.
Some other tips:
