The Weekend Update - May 29th, 2006Follow

From Thursday evening untill Monday morning, I was at Balticon 40 (www.bsfs.org) working at the art show and helping others have a good time. (Didnt have that great a time myself but elne clare covered that in a thread response over in the asylum.)On Monday I had the commute from heck trying to get downtown to work. I forgot the light rail didnt run untill 11 AM due to holiday schedule and foolishly started walking from the hotel to what I thought was the nearest bus stop location. One hour and 3 miles later I finally stopped at a bus stop to rest knowing I wouldnt make it downtown in time.
(I could have stopped after seeing one bus pass me by but figured that the next one wouldnt be by for another 45 min. I was wrong.) :P
Arrived at work only to find another in my place, seems my boss had called me at home to confirm my coming in on the holiday and when he didnt hear back, called another guide to work. Went home, tried to play a little eq but the mouse kept locking up on me.
No eq at all until this am when I logged on Jonwin and killed a few hoppers.
