am sure the ZI area would, there are green con goblins to a lvl 70. As you move in deeper tho, the mobs will scale fast. From LB to a lvl 70 to DB as you go in even deeper.

but right at the base of the stairs there are some mobs i bet you could handle. would be great exp for you as well. in door zone and all.

I went to veksar with my mage around 58 with my epic pet and it was pretty good. There are plenty of mobs in the courtyard right near zone in, and you should be able to clear most of it before repops.

There is also a named standing on pedestal right at zone in, can't remember if he drops anything good. The loot is decent coin and a bunch of weapons, not sure what they sell to merchants for.

It's a pretty good spot, however I always preferred nurga/droga. The mobs there seem to have less hp, don't hit any harder, and are super easy to single pull. These two remain high on my list of favorite dungeons (I still solo in droga at 63) and I found the xp to be as good if not better than veksar. Plus as mobs start turning lb to you, just move in deeper. Also, a bunch of named there who are no harder than the regular gobbies, if you run around killing placeholders and spawning named you can get some pretty decent bazaar-sellable loot.

As a 58 Necro you have the advantage of slowing undead (over a Mage).

The first undead are in the 46-50 level range. They get higher and higher the father back you go.

Pick your live mob fights carefully.. I would advise just invising past them.

This is a really good map of Veksar's Named: http://www.obsessionmatrix.com/veksar_smoosh.jpg

Veksar is a Necro's playground.. many of my friends call it Neksar. Your biggest problem will be your pet.

Pet tanking with Servant of Bones (a monk pet) even slowed undead will be teh suck. You really need warrior Emissary of Thule (59) or much better warrior Legacy of Zek (61). The reason is not so much the hit points, as the relative levels.

Servant of Bones is a 44 mob, Emissary of Thule (unfocused) is a 47 mob while Lagacy of Zek is a 60 mob (unfocused). Being 47 tanking a 55 mob is alot different than 60 (both in mitigation and melee DPS).

So.. you may have to use some combination of summon kiting and pet tanking. Or, if you are crazy brave you could try charming undead for pets (hasted of course!).. but this will be utterly frustrating solo as you have no way to debuff MR and your charm length will be crap. The masters of old would try and melee proc an Orb of Tishan, but this is getting silly.

At 59 I bought Dire Charm, specifically for Veksar, but a 46 Mob charmed actually does less DPS and has less survivabilty than a focused LoZ pet. I used it twice.. wish I could have refunded those points. And you can't FD (breaks charm).

So. You could (and should) solo there all day.. even at 58. But you will have better results at 59 and 61 (and beyond) with better pets.

I used DC there at level 59 as a chanter.

Was fun. A DCed mob is doable all the way back to the Shopkeeper camp.

When I thought about it I took Mage summoned pet toys and they make it faster and easier but are not needed.

I used the SK mobs from the begining of the undead area. if shopkeeper was camped I would go to either the Theater or just past the water. Both were nice camps for gear for alts at the time.

it will be tough at 58 as your pet will die a lot. best to duo with a SK or a pally until 59th or 60th. at 60th you become a GOD in there.

59th is easier, but then that is from a necro who is 2 years out of date with gear and what not. so with the right gear, heavy buffs on pet yes you could do it even at 58.

EoT will help a lot as his agro compaired to your lower pet is great. no FEAR kiting in there, and no agro kitting either. this is a slow/dot/hot/DD melee location from what i remember, but a blast of a place for a necro to live.

I did the 5 undead spawn at the top of the ramp using the 51 Warrior pet, it wasn't easy, and a bit touch and go, had to FD sometimes if slow didn't land first try. But it was doable.

Veksar can diefinately be started at that level. The first group of undead in the cubby-holes will probably need to be tap-tanked. I remember when the SK mobs would root me and fear my pet off into the goblins - I may have been in my early 50s then. I had been killing the goblins off and on since the late 40s.

Nurga is also a great spot or these levels (late 40s-late 50s). The first set of rooms has ridiculously easy pathing, notably along the curved hall. I got the earring from there (Wretched Earring of Pain) and then camped the backstabbers atop the exit waterfall to get the gloves from Stabber Remy (and a dozen of those mantles).

There's a single-player task you can get in FV where one step is to scout out the "machine room" or something similar, in Veksar's. Does anyone know where that room is? I downloaded the map that Felicite linked, but I don't see it. I kind of like doing the single-player tasks when LFG. I'm a 65 Ranger with 80% bazaar (and not great bazaar) weapons/armor. Can I make it through to find this area at this level with Conv/Wunshi/KEI?

Thanks!
