quick questionFollow

my friend doesnt play EQ anymore and wanted to let me use his 70paladin to farm things for my toons and stuff. He has all the expansions where I only have up to the first 5. Will gear on his pally be effected on my computer since i dont have the expansions on my computer? or will somehting horrid happen?!

Nothing will happen. You can actually use the patcher to download the expansion zone files to your computer and play on those expansions. It'll take a while but it'll work just fine with his account, but not with yours.

just remember this is a violation of eula with sony. Dont leave gear or money you want on the paladin just in case the person takes his account back.
With that said, yes you can farm any item withthe paladin, and as long as it is not no drop, you can give it to a toon on your account.

Think of it this way: If your friend came over to your place to play, why should he NOT have access to all expansions (provided you have them downloaded of course)? Just pretend to be your friend, and all is well ;-)

Yeah, just don't walk up to a GM and go "I'm on my friend's account!" and you'll be fine.

Keep in mind you wont have access to those new zones on YORU charactors, but any dropable gear would still be avilable to your toons just as if you bought it in the Bazzar.
