I have a new cpu and cant find that vid clip of the Monk Soloing Naggy with the nasty soundtrack. Its old but nothing gets ya in the mood to grind threw the weekend like that clip did.

Or if you have any other heart pounding beat em up in game clips .. that would be cool .. please dont link the HE siting under a tree reading a book .. or the RL actors playing with each other online .. oh that one is so sweet ... I am not looking for sweet .. I want blood and nasty soundtracks ta kick off the grind.

Was it ever verified that the monk was able to do it, or was it just a screenshot from eqemulator?
I don't see how a monk could SOLO this mob I remember raiding naggy with 3 groups of lvl 49 to 52 people and wipeing every time and most of us was fairly decent geared with lvl 65 resist buffs, good resist gear etc.

I don't have the link, and wouldn't care if it was real. It sounds like a good show! Like maybe Lord Haxor had his hand in the making of it?

Ok yes, technicaly it was a duo .. there is what apears to be a shaman in bear form in the background dooing the video .. but the Monk is the single combatant ... akk .. I just want the clip .. not an argument on how many raiders it takes to ***** in a lightbulb. jk .. link the clip if you have it please

well i dont have the clip, but from what i heard, they guy who did it was a high level raider with a lot of AAs who deleveled himself down to level 52, he also used potions during the fight, and he would have had the best armour you could get for that level no doubt, so he was much more than just a normal level 52 monk.
The monk did not delevel and there was no duo.

It looks like everybody's wrong. In both videos there's two monks and in the Naggy video when it flashes the UI for a sec you can see that there's 4 people in the party window. Whether or not they did anything is up for debate but two monks is definitely greater than one.

Anyway, the OP asked for any cool clips like that and I always get a kick out of those.
soloing naggy is pretty trivial, there's no reason to fake it via eqemu or what not. he's just not that hard.

Both clips show a little dwarf hiding just out of sight of the dragons. I always assumed that was a cleric saftey-net waiting to cast one heal if needed and get banished.
I found Vox challenging enough. Before the max-resists vet buff our guild took about two groups of casually geared folks to Vox and we gave up after about 3 attempts. The AE fear was messing up the heals. The resists on our bazaar gear and ldon-steel just wasn't high enough to deal with that.
We did get her down very low, and probably would have won if we brought 3-4 more people.

Both clips clearly show 2 monks and a cleric. The naggy one even shows what appears to be a necro or SK in skelly form.

If anyone off of the Cazic Thule server who was in the now defunct guilds Eidos of Tao/Ill Bred/Nightcrawlers, can look and see if you can bring up any of those guild websites, that clip I am looking for is in the members comments section of one of those.
I am sory I cant find any of them myself.

It looked to me like the dwarf (probably a cleric) got summoned, since at one point he went from being in the doorway to being right under Naggy.
They did get heals cast on them, and I am pretty sure its fake. Where is the red haze you see in Sol B? In the eqemu none of the sol zones have that red glow, and even with your clip plane set to max you ALWAYs see that red glow especially in Naggys room. So all in all I would say it was done on eqemulator.

I've duoed naggy and I wasn't even super twinked.
I'm positive he can be soloed. There's a tremendous difference between ldon steel and highend twink gear.

That second video with the monk looks real. And to answer sir groogle that could be for more then 1 reason.
1. To make it look real
2. They was PLAYING on the server and not RUNNING it. If your playing on it you can't change the spawns, at least not usually.
and once again the first one looks just like the emulator because of the lack of the red fog. If you look at the 2nd video you can see that faint red fog, it was simply not there in the first one.

red fog doesn't display on my computer, even on live.
no one would notice naggy doing 100 less dps.
and anyone who would go through the effort to fake a video would probably just spend an hour or so to set up an emu server =p
