Tasks and DoN Solo for a 62 Ranger?Follow

Hi. I'm a 62 Ranger who's looking for solo stuff to do at 62 for xp. I'd like to grind to 65 before EQ/AM3 (currently have two AAs toward AM1). I actually like to do something while LFG and also, sometimes I can just get on for an hour to play. At times like these, I enjoy picking up a task in Dreadlands and going for it. However, I've found that tasks can be a bit hard to do with somewhat lacking gear (all bazaar purchased). I do like the xp from tasks, too (plus the pp is good). So I guess I have a few questions:

1. If I find a partner to do a task with, can we both do the same task at the same time? Will we both be able to do it, and be grouped?

2. Is there more than set of tasks to get? For instance, I've already done two or three easy tasks, now all I get are "medium" ones. I assume I can't get any more "easy" ones? There are different NPCs that give tasks in Dreadlands. They all give the same tasks?

3. Are there any other NPCs in different zones that give tasks for different zones (for a 62 Ranger?)

4. Can I do anything solo in DoN? I've only done one DoN mission (which we failed) and did that about a year ago (have been away from EQ for > 1 year). I really don't know ANYTHING about soloing DoN, but would like to if possible.

5. I had just decided the other day that I'm grinding to 65 before getting my AM3/EQ AAs. But now that I think about it, because I tend to play in short bursts at times, would I be better served to just sit tight at 62 for the next couple weeks (or more) and just work on the AM3/EQ? I know to many of you, the 15 or so AAs I need don't seem like many, but to me, it's a LONG grind (my RL wife *HATES* EQ! Very Happy)

Well, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I kind of prefer not to kite because it takes *SO* long to kill one mob, so instead, I've turned to tasks which I think are kind of fun, at the same time, also a major pain in the ***** Smile
