Questions about new level being added to gameFollow

I got a quick question if anyone would know by chance.

I keep reading posts that Sony wants to change the level cap to lvl 75. Is this true or just rumors being passed around. I did read a post from someone at Sony that had mentioned this.

What is everyone's take on this?

I myself am a very casual gamer. I use to be into the game quite a bit but it just seems that everyene is leaving the game and that it's very hard to get a group at times. Most of my time is not just chatting to old friends that still survive and being the friendly type I just log on my toons to help others with clicky res', kei, druid buffs, shammy buffs etc and spend most of my time just helping others.

The reason that I am asking is because if the cap goes to 75 then that means that my highest toon (lvl 68) will then have a hard time finding other casual players yet again because everyone will be trying to get to 75 and hitting even harder zones. And everyone knows the higher zones take a lot to get into (being keyed etc) and I just dont have the time to do all of that. It just seems that if you want to keep playing EQ you have to spend like 2 to 4 hours at a shot trying to get raids going to get anywhere worth while in the game and I just dont have that kind of time anymore.

Maybe its just time I shut down my accounts for good?

At high end it just seems worthless to try to solo mobs because you dont get anywhere hunting for 1 hour at a time when you dont have time to play the game...
